We've all seen the decent saves on motd but we haven't seen how he was on crosses and commanding the box and this is why he was allowed to leave. As I've said on a thread on Max before people need to look at all keepers, not just ours, to see mistakes made that would leave some of our forum sages reaching for expletives (see Mendy's horrendous flap for Forest's 1st goal yesterday for instance)

So we look out for the supporter with lots of empty seats around him then!
He Talks a lot more sense than the tactical genius who sits behind me

I have this idiot sat behind me moaning about why Scott didn't clear it upfield and then moaning why we don't get rid of it quicker from the back. He has that kind of voice that just goes right through you. I just can't be bothered to turn around and waste energy engaging with the negativety you just know he won't listen to any other points of view.
Sounds like the moron who sits behind me whose tactical nous stops at 'get it forward '

On a purely conceptual point….if the first team left back (whoever it is) is keeping Cam Pring out if the team, it’s got to be a good thing for the strength of the team.
There are other questions it raises without doubt. My gut feel is he’s coming in to play other positions (plural).
Pure defending was never his strong point, him and Pring down the left is an exciting thought.

That's nothing to do with the players though. We will do it and it's the right thing to do.
A few minutes respect then tear into them

So with all these left footers taking pens if we'd had one before Nahki came on Saturday I would insist on Cam taking it

Used to be the opposite, left footers never missed.
Did Darren Barnard,Tinnion or Bell ever miss one, can't remember off the top of my head?

I do wonder if people actually look at other teams keepers and compare mistakes or just enjoy slagging off our own players more. I'm not saying Max is the greatest ever but a look at the goals conceded on any edition of Match of the day will give examples of mistakes and poor efforts. Just this week Pope's poor effort for a half hit Villa third goal and although Ramsdale made some worldies against Liverpool it was a pretty tame effort for West Ham's second yesterday.

I did see Colin Cramb score all six in a reserve game against the Gas

More recently for us the dark arts were Jack Hunts only real talent

I'm not saying he's a dirty or hard man type but you don't play that many games as a teenager in the championship without being as tough as old boots,Alex Scott is his name.

So now you can see what Nige saw in Cornick eh?

This sounds like it could have been written a year ago. This season he has been extremely reliable and those mistakes have been rare. Most fans seem to see him as possibly the player of the season, certainly one of them. I no longer worry when he's on the ball, the way I used to.
And how many different partners has he had this season as well,at least four! Done very well in the circumstances.

That's a fair opinion, although I don't agree he's looked our worst senior player.
Thought he worked hard and showed some good things against Blackpool in an unfamiliar position

And still nothing has changed there as Newcastle can tell you.
When we played there in the early 00's (when we were on that winning streak) the layout and particularly the stewards were aggressively useless.
