Thank you Havanatopia are you on a commission? You make the area around and about Huddersfield sound totally delightful! No doubt most of the travelling City faithful will see very little of it although as you say their support counts for so much.

Think we can look forward to a good game with Huddersfield looking to recover from a dip in results while we are looking to build on last weeks home win. So I am lining up alongside SP as I fancy a draw too, think it will be 2-2 with Tammy and Wilbs netting.

yes tammys drought is bound to end  soon, then someone is going to cop it,

I maybe wrong in this but wasn't TA playing in the summer for England as well? I wasn't saying he's jaded after 20 games, I was saying he could become jaded if he doesn't get some support  at some point or a break. In fact, have one yourself, say I said it's ok, if anyone questions it.

as I have retired some would say I am on a permanent break, but thanks for your suggestion, seriously though I did not realise he had been quite as busy as that as I have said in another post I agree with you he could do with more help hopefully he will get it in the next window

Trouble is Joe, we don't pick the order in which we play matches. Cardiff had a new boss and raised their game. QPR, we always struggle there and could have won a very tight game. Today...I couldn't see us winning and it sounds as if we did better than I expected. Next week I'lll be at Reading, they're on fire. Brighton are in a different league. These are all tough games...and it was obvious they'd be tough games before this run started. Even Barnsley pulled one back with more or less the last kick of the game. As I said elsewhere, perspective needed. We don't have the squad to walk this division, but we can compete. I see that as improvement. We are, as everyone has said, a work in progress...

lets hope we progress quickly, because I have been hearing this for the last 50 years ,we keep making excuses how many more years  must we see the likes of Swansea hull etc get to the top division we can only keep making excuses for so long. sorry for ranting on but sometimes you  get to the stage like I have where you have heard it all before too often. sorry I had to get it of my chest

Apologies if already touched upon but the cards are really stacked against an upcoming championship team. Because they do not know they are promoted until after the playoffs they are so far behind in preparing to try to deal with the gulf. Any player that's good enough is likely snapped up long before the playoffs are over and really are not holding out to see who gets promoted. The reason upcoming sides find it so difficult is because of this and the gulf in class. It really is nigh on impossible but for a few exceptions. The Aviva Premiership is a de facto closed shop.

I also worry that if we go up we would also get slaughtered every week like Bristol it cant be much fun for the fans sometimes the journey is much better than the destination

I think its a big ask from a team who nearly got relegated to getting promoted the following season and no we wont do a leicester.

Ill be chuffed to bits if we finish outside the playoffs. Some big teams in this league and i can guarantee villa and derby will finish above us.

GUARANTEE blimey can I borrow your time machine so I can get next weeks lottery numbers
