I don't think we can underestimate how crucially important those 3 points were for us today and tribute must go to you and the rest of the City fans at the game; what a fabulous noise you made so take a huge bow mate because you WERE instrumental in getting City back in to the game and once that first goal went in it was virtually all one way traffic.
Come the end of the season we may look back at this result and say this was the day that not only did we sack the Ruskie but it was when we stayed comfortably in the play off zone instead of looking over our shoulder.
For me quite probably the most satisfying result of this campaign so far.
hopefully we can finally then lay the ghost of 2008.

Is a good result I feel..especially with the absentees. Seemed about fair I thought and is another step forward from last season.
lets be honest to even be slightly disappointed with only a draw shows just how far our expectations have risen, last season we would have been delighted with a point.

But at right back.
yes I suppose technically but he still did a job in midfield most of the time as well, hence the chant he's here he's there he's every f in where.

Obviously sending off was a big help, but we have done well to overcome the unjust loss of Bailey, missing Korey from CM too. Well deserved win in the end, just bloody nervous last few mins when we could not keep hold of the ball.
Korey played today.

still worried last season is beginning to repeat itself.

Nigel Clough's old man must be spinning in his grave after that 12 men behind the ball shite his boy just served up. They wasted time from the first few minutes, faked injuries, failed to return the ball after faking injuries and basically never ventured out of their first third. I remember a few away sides parking the bus under Wilson but I've never seen anything like that, to put only three or four players ahead of the ball when they have a free kick 10 yards inside our half says it all. I hope Burton get relegated with extreme prejudice, twice if possible.
The referee should be taken to the nearest glue factory and recycled as PVA. He was without a shadow of a doubt the worst official I can remember seeing at Ashton Gate. Not only was he hugely over fussy about where free kicks were taken from he was entirely inconsistent in his decisions, failed to use a stopwatch properly, got conned for the entire game, bottled out of a clear red card, bottled out of a clear yellow for delaying the restart and forgot basics like making a player receiving treatment leave the field. He was atrocious to the point where I would investigate betting patterns.
As for us, we contrived to **** up just about every final ball. Aside from that we were good. There's little else to say, it was very frustrating.
I take it when you said 12 men behind the ball you were including the ref!!

Anyone who uses Facebook (I don't), able to find a picture of the new disabled area at the Mem?
Gashead is the pub reckons it's an even bigger embarrassment than the Grotto. 4 bits of wood with some sort of cover.
no that's the main stand.

Found this from their pre-game predictions
They are eight games unbeaten in all competitions. Let's not make it nine. My Bristol Rovers supporting friends are desperate for us to stop them in their tracks. Come on City.
that will teach him to be more specific.

When the Al Qadis took over and promised them UWE, Hamer said breakeven was 15k, which is why they couldn't stay at the Mem as they'd die.
Of course then UWE fell through at they're staying at the Mem, so wish they'd get on with ending...
happy endings, nudge nudge wink wink!!

Firstly this is a winnable game, Reading aren’t all that.
Vyner is having a mare, far too lightweight not getting close enough to his man and casual, his weak challenge led to Baker having to make a rash challenge for his yellow card. He is not being helped by COD who is another lightweight and has offered nothing in this game whatsoever.
I only realised Patterson was playing when he took a corner, the game is passing him by.
Brownhill lacks pace but looks a better midfield combination with Smith who is the best player on the field, best pass of the day to Bryan and got Vyner and COD out of jail more than once.
But the midfield looks unbalanced to me with Patterson and COD.
Diedhiou his first touch is appalling and his passing almost as bad, we have little or no threat upfront.
I did say he was the biggest waste of 5 million I had ever seen, but not a lot of people seemed to agree with me, maybe more people will agree with me now.

I saw that quote, it just comes across as more bullshit from the gas, they seem to have got to the stage where they can't just say something as it is, and need to lie/distort/embellish their statements 'cos they feel they need to constantly pull the wool over peoples eyes.
even the wool they pull over peoples eyes is 30% nylon.

If people were really getting excited over beating a woeful Barnsley team and a team in the league below...they need more then a reality check .
Think today just proves that not a massive amount has changed to last season
yes not on the pessimism front either.

the way things are going 1 point above the relegation zone, sliding down the table, financial problems you may not have to wait that long.
