    QPR Away

Probably sold out by the time you read this, so not such a struggle.
  2. If we start to play well and a few of our injured players come back results are good dare I say it but like with an ex-girlfriend a lot of those now moaning will move on and soon forget NP harsh as that sounds, it's just what happens in life.
  3. Are intending to buy ALL 182 terrace houses in a street to enable them to expand their ground, there will be compulsory purchase orders against those that refuse to sell could that possibly happen with us? seems unlikely. Families fear being kicked out of their homes as Blackpool football club plans to buy entire street of 182 properties to build a new stand (msn.com)
  4. In what way? results-wise that won't be that hard as overall they have been a bit underwhelming for most of his tenure, and yes I know there were mitigating circumstances for part of that.
  5. I agree there's nothing like a mass debate .
  6. IF, not that likely though we are only going to get stronger when our injury situation improves.
  7. FFs! Do you think that with ALL the players we have to rejoin in the next month or so potentially we have any chance of being in the position to be relegated?
  8. You're right for various reasons it has been, we haven't really got much to lose and much to gain though I realise I'm probably in the minority I was beginning to feel it was time for a change, he was very unlucky with injuries and the fact we keep selling our best players but other clubs who have spent a lot less than us over the past 3 years have done a lot better, Preston and Luton to name just two.
  9. Sunderland played against 10 men today for as long as we did, we got 3 points they got 1 and still, some on here complain, have we forgotten so easily being 2-1 up against Coventry last season against 10 and somehow losing 3-2? a bit of perspective is needed look let's just enjoy a winning weekend and look forward to hopefully better times ahead.
  10. I'm hoping they will tire in the last twenty and once we get one they crumble.
  11. Swindle 6 down at home to a non-league side. Also, it looks like Ipswich's bubble has finally burst.
  12. Don't cut your nose off to spite your face, you are the only one who will lose out stay and cheer them on.
  13. Looks like we will be seeing Alex Scott back at the Gate sooner than we thought Bournemouth 3-0 down already.
  14. How old is he? he seems to have been around since the dinosaurs .
  15. Wasn't he the longest-serving manager in the Championship up to that point? so compared to every other team we had been quite patient if you look at it that way, for what it's worth I agree results have been overall poor, especially at home, there are some mitigating factors and he was dealt a poor hand but it did not surprise me he was sacked, harsh? well, it's a results game and we just weren't getting the results however unlucky he had been with injuries etc.
  16. It's a stitch up .
  17. Speculation, and not a small helping of wishful thinking as well.
  18. I think his health/mobility issues could also have played a not insignificant role in his dismissal as well, yes there have been a lot of injuries but even the most loyal NP supporter has to admit there have been times when even with most of our players fit we have had some disappointing runs of results, I mean we went nearly a calendar year without winning at home. I think his tenure will always have that what if about it, what with us selling our best players and all the injuries, it will be interesting to see where he ends up next, or he may even decide to call it a day.
