  1. One of my most enjoyable ever city games, I was supposed to meet my wife and her sister up at Racks in Clifton for a meal to celebrate her birthday she was already a bit peeved that I was going to the match but I said I would be there for 10 o clock, well when I turned up 40 minutes late I was expecting the worse but she had heard it had gone to extra time and she said when she saw how ecstatic I was she didn't have the heart to complain. happy memories.

    Parking

They did, unfortunately thanks to not being able to park anywhere near the ground they have a monopoly I'm hoping people pay it once and when they find out how much it is find other ways to get to the ground and they end up killing the Goose that laid the golden egg.

    Parking

I see the car park at the bottom of Rownham hill next to the Bedminster cricket club have raised their prices yet again to £15 to park on match days so be warned, personally they have finally made me actually use the bus as only 3 seasons ago it was £5 so that's a 300% increase, the term greedy B****rds come to mind, shame a boycott can't be arranged as I think they are now taking the p*ss that's £5 an hour it's cheaper to park in the west end of London.
  4. If it was the one where the ball landed from 100 feet up and stopped dead still in a puddle and it was impossible to actually pass the ball along the ground then yes, being a cynical B***ard any games that have ever been called off always seem to be in the second half when the club don't have to reimburse you, or is that just me ?
  5. I think I can count on the fingers of one hand in the last 40 years a match has been called off for rain.
  6. I wouldn't call finishing 8th success, and when we made the playoff final in 2008 we lost that, again not success, so I'm afraid we will have to agree to disagree on what could be termed success.
  7. Let's hope so as the patience of the faithfull probably you and definately me is being sorely tried, we may well have the best manager we have had for years at the worst time, it's a shame he was not here instead of LJ when money appeared to be plentiful, we will never know.
  8. Do you mean winning what is in effect the 3rd division title and a cup competition that is restricted to the bottom two divisions? yes the League cup semi was a nice surprise I'm sorry but in my opinion we have massively under performed compared to too many clubs to mention and asking for instant success, well being more competitive in the division we currently find ourselves in would do for a start.
  9. Fair enough I'm glad you could see where I was coming from, me I'm a bit underwhelmed but accept he didn't start with the best of hands in fact given the hand he was dealt it's probable Pep Guardliola whould have struggled, it does not stop me feeling with his experience the team should at least have some identity and at the moment we still seem to be repeating the mistakes of the past.
  10. Instant success . probably one of the funniest yet deluded posts i have heard in many a long year and believe me I have been here a long time. I'm almost speechless which for me takes some doing that somebody could come on here and criticise fans that have been waiting years if not decades for any kind of "succsess"
  11. Respect him highly? yet you think we are some way behind where we should be and are no nearer any form of cohesive play or style than when he started, read back what you have just written does the saying blind faith spring to mind.
  12. I agree but it's rarely us that equalise is it.
  13. It's not though is, it or have you forgotten the previous season? there are many ready to make excuses for him and some of them have merit but to say 3 games people 3 games is to insult my and a lot of other posters intelligence, who quite rightly have genuine concerns at the seeming lack of much if any improvement, late goals, can't hold onto leads etc etc.
  14. When you are delighted with a point at Wigan it shows how low our expectations are now.
  15. That's the Wigan that last season were in League one.
  16. If and it's an if at the moment surely if we do lose this one as well questions have to be asked as to whether NP really is the right man to lead this team. I have to say personally I'm not convinced he is.
  17. Come on with good reason, and until we go on a run of games that we see out comfortably you can't blame us for biting our nails.
