  1. Makes you wonder why we didn't go down that route as well or are we that financially screwed?
  2. Definitely stripped of the Champions league final will now be played in Paris, and the F1 grand prix in Russia is cancelled as well, they are set to become the sporting pariahs their actions and drug taking has warranted for years, good riddance.
  3. it's channel 120 on sky, yes lovely HD.
  4. It is in HD, channel 144 on Sky, Quest HD.
  5. God just imagine that, Personally I think the world in general has let Russia get away with too much over the years as far as the drug taking is concerned, all Russian athletes should have been banned instead of letting them compete under the so called ROC flag of convenience, hopefully they have gone too far this time and will finally face the full force of sporting sanctions.
  6. We somehow have to get this monkey off of our backs I'm sure if we are expecting it the players if they were honest probably are as well it just happens too often to be unlucky.
  7. Have a horrible feeling that Joey Barton might get the gas up this season.
  8. We seem to have tried everything 3 at the back 4 at the back different players in different positions and nothing works, so yes I think we have to come to the conclusion the players, well most of them are just not up to it.
  9. Fixed, I'm sure that's what it used to be though, or am I dreaming that?
  10. Looks like UEFA are going to move the Champions league final from Russia, can't say I'm surprised if they carry on the way their going and their drug cheating they will become sporting pariahs.
  11. Well he's 66 now so probably mid 20s.
  12. Sometimes an opportunity comes along that's just too good to resist .
  13. Back in the day as a 23 year old I used to frequent the Mall pub in Clifton and got talking to a barmaid from Port Elizabeth in S Africa I started talking about my love for city and she said to me that she had never ever seen a football match in her life, I said city were playing that weekend and would she like to come with me, we both stood in the old enclosure and she was really getting into the spirit of things, when Jimmy scored we both went ballistic despite her never having seen a game before, she told me after that going to the game had been one of the best things she had ever done. I told her at the time that she had probably just witnessed one of the greatest goals ever scored at Ashton Gate, That was 43 years ago, I often wonder whether she ever tells people of that afternoon, personally it's not something I will ever forget and feel privileged to have witnessed it first hand, this video is the first time I have actually seen the goal again after 43 years, it looks just as good as I remember it, just for once that's not just through rose tinted spectacles.
  14. Daft isn't it but it makes a real difference to my weekend and I'm sure I'm not the only one, match of the day and the EFL show just seem more enjoyable to watch as well.

That was strange because a lot of us could see he was for the most part being played out of position, you would have thought our 2 previous managers could have seen that for themselves Oh well better late than never I suppose.

He's five years younger than Jamie Vardy so at 30 no way is he "to old" but I know where your coming from, at his age if a bigger club came in for him you could understand it if he wanted one last hurrah.
