If only we could have an eleven we have sold for being not good enough back there have been more than enough of them.

Nobody promised us a rose garden right? We knew this was going to be an inconsistent season of rebuilding and I’m satisfied so far. We’ve seen two very poor performances in tonight and the Luton game.. a few pretty average ones and a couple of decent displays at Reading and vs Fulham. We don’t look like relegation fodder and that’s good enough for now.
I think we are all on a downer after tonight but I think the injuries and forced changes tonight and not having Pearson’s experience there cost us and contributed to that dire second half. Pretty sure we’d have nicked it or at least got a draw had we not lost Williams and Baker.
I beg your pardon!

How?
We got a point on Saturday. Tonight we didn't. A bit of a rubbish result and a bit of a rubbish performance but it doesn't mean it's all down the drain. It just means we need to do better at Posh.
I think he means in terms of effort and teamwork not the actual result.

Just when you think we have maybe turned the corner we go back to being sh*t again.

Another example of a team in poor form being lucky to have us in their next game and getting a moral boosting victory, I lost count of the number of times it happened last season.

Plenty of empty seats in the lansdown with a better view than the south stand.
Yes and it's more expensive, it's £43 for tomorrow's game in the centre. hence the empty seats you talk about.

The club did exactly this to long standing ST holders years ago in the old Williams Stand in order to install the posh seats for the more 'favoured' supporter.
And us in the Atyeo when they had away supporters on the left hand side. (looking from the pitch).

If you can’t go 2x 45 mins without a drink…
So if it was available you would never ever partake in a pint or drink during a game?

Don't think we are going to need sir Colin this season, will be surprised if the gas are not doomed before Christmas at this rate.

Didn't realise reception was so bad in Norwich.

I did and your post sounded like you agreed with him.
Not sure how you could possibly come to that conclusion, explain your reasoning to me. If, it's all hypothetical none of us know what will happen.

But we’re not at the moment so why are you catastrophising about it now?
I'm not, Gas destroyer said he expected a relegation fight this season I was merely pointing out that IF we were that would make future player recruitment difficult, did you not read the post I was replying to?

Really struggle to understand some of the posts on here.
We are improving under NP compared to the shitshow last year. That team last night was not NPs. It is what he inherited. I’m expecting a relegation fight, and will be all season probably.Just need to get through this season and survive - that will be a successful season for me. Just glad I didn’t take out a season ticket as pretty hard to watch home games.
The problem with that is if we are in a relegation battle most of the season it will be very difficult to attract the kind of players that will help us to become the team we all aspire to be won't it.

After seven games?
But it's not seven games though is it, or does the rubbish served up for the second half of last season not count?

If we carry on in the same vein performance and results wise at home I can see crowds plummeting, I know it's no guarantee of better results to sack the manager but I'm really beginning to doubt Nigel Pearson is a good fit for our club.

How many games is that now without a home win?
14.

All those that think we are getting better under Pearson, really!
