  1. There are always some people who are r soles, the vast majority of people in this country do fall into the keep calm and carry on category, it's a national stereotype for a reason.
  2. Just generally, the keep calm and carry on slogan I think has summed up the British character and is particularly apt at this moment in time. And as for being the sick man of Europe I think considering our population we are relatively low down the numbers per head of population many more deaths in other EU countries with a lot less people so we must be doing something right, of course I can't predict what will happen in the future.
  3. Funny how we managed for 100s of years before we joined the EU, don't worry I'm sure we will be fine we usually are.
  4. Would that be a over supply of rampant rabbit rabbits!!
  5. We're not at war with other countries. this isn't Brexit, wtf are you on about? and while I'm at it stop trying to make this a political argument you have no idea how this will pan out, just your own political bias, stop trying to blame the government look after yourself and do what you think is best for yourself and family most of us don't need telling what to do.
  6. Months is still better than years, at least there seems to be a bit of good news amongst the almost unrelenting gloom.
  7. British scientists are close to finding a vaccine for coronavirus apparently, let's keep our fingers crossed we may be nearer the end of this nightmare than we thought.
  8. Turns out the pilot wasn't even licensed to fly the plane getting a sorrier story by the minute.
  9. If pubs were not feeling the pinch already this will surely tip some over the edge, personally I mostly visit my local to watch the sport as I don't have Sky or BT, can see a lot of bars being pretty empty on a wet Tuesday night with no footy or other sports on.
  10. I think he meant their general hygiene standards regarding the slaughter storage and selling of meat in open areas, well I'm assuming he did.
  11. If some of you feel that strongly about this virus and want to blame the government for not acting what exactly do you want them to do? it's possible to be responsible for your own actions, personally I think they are trying to strike a balance between respecting our personal freedom and not trying to scare the living daylights out of people, I live with someone who is in great danger from this, I wont go into detail but believe me if she gets it she probably wouldn't survive it, all this scare talk will only make things worse look after yourself in any way you can but don't let it rule your life, at the moment the chances of getting the virus are still very small let's hope it turns out to be much less of a threat than some on here are making it out to be.
  12. 3 Leicester City players now showing possible signs of the virus, starting to look bad for fixtures in this country now.
  13. Not just sport if the numbers continue to rise, let's hope it doesn't turn out like that.
  14. Bloody hope it's not dragged on till then should be alright by then surely.
  15. 3 cases just confirmed in Wiltshire, came back from Italy, when are we going to stop people going and coming back from there? seems almost everybody that comes back from there seems to have it.
  16. Haven't noticed any massive runs on supermarkets, though statements like that certainly won't help. Must admit have been surprised there hasn't, usually in pill all it takes is a bank holiday with the shops closed for one day to see the shelves empty of bread milk etc.
  17. By that reckoning up to 6,500,000 people could die annually sorry but can't see that happening.
  18. Did you mean multi millionaire Rick wakeman?
  19. Toilet facilities weren't up to much either if I recall.
  20. While were alive it wont be, but after were all gone hope it's not airbrushed from our history, they wouldn't do that would they?
