Exactly right don't be fooled we will stay up ,next season big trouble bloke ain't got a clue cheap option as always worrying times.
-
Lansdown wants out but no buyers on his terms ,Manning not happy with player recruitment, top wage won't bring in any decent top championship players, bargain basement options & hope academy produces. From inside the the club that's where we are.Mid table mediocrity if we are lucky until Lansdown goes that where we are.

Raised our game again against a top team but still ended up with nothing . Sunday bloody Sunday!!!!!!!

Not a chance manning will get the points we need to avoid relegation, said it before and was laughed at ,We are in big big trouble.

Just shows what Pearson had to deal with ,giving him game time even though no near the level . Lansdown shat on him big time.

Are you honestly trying to say we never had poor performances under Pearson? We had plenty, in fact results like today have been a regular occurrence since we’ve gone back up. I’m willing to give Manning the benefit of the doubt considering he’s only had one window to correct it
Manning will take us down given the chance .

He will stay, they are to embarrassed to sack him ,10 games into next season he'll be gone ,same old mis management.

I'm expecting another Manning league performance ,apart from top teams another poor performance. Nil points.

This may get me some stick, but that performance I put squarely on Manning's head.
Playing that lopsided team with a left wide man but the right sided 10/8 meant McCrorie had no one to pass to in front of him. Every time he got the ball he had to go back. Mehmeti was a passenger the entire time he was out there and bringing Cornick on when Sykes was available seemed like madness. Then giving Mebude the responsibility of trying to get us back in a game we were never in was absolutely crazy. He's not even started a game in mens football FFS.
They played exactly as I thought they would, their Manager has got them playing some decent football and we never looked like we had a plan to hurt them. That was a performance devoid of ideas and it needed Manning to lead , it never happened . I said a while back I would judge him in February, as good as Tuesday was, today was clueless. Apparently we had 2 shots to their 7 , I think that sounds right . They deserved to win by more we were pathetic , I have just got home after a few beers but I doubt I will change my opinion come the morning .
The best bit about today ? I managed to avoid a post game beer with my QPR BiL and mates as I had a quiet one in the Coopers . One thing I will say, when TC came on he looked like the player of old because he was allowed to move as he wanted, not restricted to the width of the box as he has been tole when playing as a lone striker.
Manning may well be a good fit, but today with a beer on board, I am not impressed.

Same amount as me roughly but I would honestly say apart from the cotterill era , bit of Gary Johnson and some Danny wilson this is probably the highest standard consistently we have played at , if you remember we have had some pretty dark days , it’s not great at the moment but I do see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel , 7-1 away to Northampton , 6-1 at home to wolves 5-0 away to Blackpool losing 1-0 at home to palace who were on a 19 game without a win run being totally dominated for a period by the gas oh and yes the cherry on the cake the pulis era , so perhaps things at all bad at the moment .
Yes your right highest standard consistently definitely just don't feel the same ,probably getting old but some of my best memories/ moments were 80s 90s when things we against us ,the atmosphere, banter, away days ( what's a designated pub ).We got great set up now agreed but those old days were special. City through & through will always go just sometimes the 90mins bit in the middle of my Saturday is a let down .

What you clearly fail to appreciate is that the vast majority of people attending the match are not posters on otib and not prone to the same extreme negativity or "I'm not gonna give my money to Lansdown" or "the season was over in January".
With 6 points between us and the top six and 45 points still up for grabs and several players on their way back , this team has everything to play for but, hey, don't let that get in the way of your negative nonsense.
Maybe 50 yrs of support up & down the country is taking its toll , yep I'll be there tonight again, unfortunately its more of a meet up with the lads that gets me out than what's being served up on the pitch nowadays!!

Amazing support again considering we got nothing to play for this season. The lansdowns must be thrilled.

A huge sense of disappointment, frustration and anger about the second half performance.
No problem with a half-time sub (assume Cornick a knock), but why the change in shape from the first half where we controlled so much of the 45 mins?
They played through us, around us, behind us. We had no answer. CB spacing went to pot as they slid in their forwards.
To end, well done though, three points, winless run over, a big boost after a tough set of fixtures.
And chilllllllllll.
Exactly right 2nd we were awful glad we didn't concede earlier no chance we would have held on.Manning still got loads of convincing in my eyes, & yes of course I want him too.

He's not shocking, he's just a young lad who will blow hot and cold and had a big hit to his confidence a few days ago.
I'm not sure if he'll become a quality Championship player for the record, but he's not shocking by any stretch of the imagination imo.
Ok not shocking just very poor at this level

In fairness, I've been saying that too but each and every game he's played I've been more and more convinced we've got to retain him. Especially if we're losing James and King.
I think Tinnion eluded to this in his RB interview. He said they are playing for their contracts and didn't sound convicing but picked Williams out specifically re the form he's in.
He ain't just become a great player always have just been unlucky with injuries . Cost alot of money to replace his quality

Decent cup football time to put it to bed & pick up some bloody points in the league where its counts ,let's see where this team really are .

Wouldn’t say scapegoating Bell. Reality is he missed his pen which cost us. Not like a World Cup final though so hopefully doesn’t beat himself up over it.
If he tried to beat himself up he'd probably miss .
