Disappointed with some of the comments on here after such a good performance.
We all know we need reinforcements to move above mid table, and that we need more numbers - Nige recognised this, as clearly does LM too, with his references to a striker in January window, and the fact he only put 7 on the bench (perhaps that is the old Cotts messaging to the owners re numbers).
I am more than content with tonight
CTID
Blimey your easily pleased

Well at least we won the first half 0.0 ,ain't had a look in 2nd ,need a miracle goal from nowhere ,top 6 my arse.

They know he has pace and and are marking him heavily. He needs to drag a marker out of their zone.
Luckily enough he got dragged off .

The rivalry between city & rovers in the late 70s,80 90s was unbelievable yep definitely do miss those times ,feel sorry for the young uns on here who've never experienced it .if we played them tomorrow it'd still be great ,don't kid yourselfs cardiff swindon etc are are main rivals they ain't.

We could have said the same thing about Gary Johnson. And what about Ipswich fans when Kieran McKenna was appointed. Kieran who?
Time will tell ,I won't hold my breath. Let's hope the players take this young rookie on board .

Great result tonight. Conways first goal was top class.
First 75 mins shocking.
I thought TGH looked poor overall tonight. Against a poor side he did not show any type of upgrade on Tanner.
OK maybe not a RB but thought he lost the ball and his 1 on 1 contest to many times.
Also his chasing back looked slow and to much effort at times.
For me £1m is way to much and we should be looking else where.
Vyner would do a better job for me than either RB but has been so good in the middle.
Roberts been on a few times now and again positioning looked questionable and does not really offer going forward as I thought he would. Not someone who can put pressure on Pring.
Shame as I thought we had some options at full back but looks like it’s Pring and Tanner (unless Vyner moves across) with little pressure on each of them for a starting role.
Hopefully we won’t burn them out.
Do you not remember vyner as a rb losing his marker most games ,no thanks he's a cb .Playing rb he'd be gone by now .

Great player in the making just a shame he will be bulging lansdowns pocket as soon a a decent bid comes in ,probably last season with us .
-
Long ball down the middle so predicable

Why wouldn't he be? Surely it makes sense to pin players with potential down so that if he does go on to attract bids, we are in the strongest negotiating position.
Yep it's great we will get value for money ,but pointless when it's not put back into the squad, it's steading the finances for the sell of the Club.
-
Bet lansdowns happy more value for when he's sold next season.

Bentley hasn’t made it in the prem, he’s signed for a club in the premier league, he’s played two times since joining 8 months ago.
If he had made it, he’d be playing week in week out, the two games he has started he’s let in 3 goals.
Where did I say he's made it in the prem, moved to be a no 2 he knew we knew it .Still a far better keeper than our no 1.

I personally don’t think many would sign him, unless it’s for financial reasons you’d expect a keeper to want to play games rather than play second fiddle.
Even more with Bentley, he’s 30 so supposed to be entering his prime, not wasting it sat on a bench.
No of course not, but it’s clearly not for footballing reasons he was signed.
180 minutes since Jan, he’s gone from playing nearly every game to being a back up keeper to make up English numbers.
Max wouldn't make a prem bench ,Bents did because he's more experienced & a better keeper at the moment. Move suited all party's on a big wage at ours & he probably got the same deal at wolves .
