I think doing it this way, all parties know the deal. Sounding out other managers behind Potter’s back is problematic - if they lock in an Enrique deal then Potter wins 12 on the spin it gets messy. Spurs are a supposed 'big 6' team that are this countries laughing stock for their weak mentality and ability to throw away all good things in record time, and can't win a trophy for love nor money.
