  1. Ask the EFL to look into it maybe? They’ll just give him a pat on the head then go back to fellating themselves but maybe worth a try.
  2. Really great first half. Let his man inside a couple times second half but still a great performance overall. Never mind the penalty, ref was crooked.
  3. Good for him. I love seeing City players in internationals, makes them more interesting.
  4. Bentley Scott Kalas Klose Cam O’Dowda HNM Williams Weimann Semenyo Wells I like Martin but if Wells can notch a few before the season ends we may be able to make some money on him.
  5. Edit to add Palmer. Vyner in CM is an option, and one we may need with James, King and Palmer now out, and Scott occasionally needed elsewhere. Pray Joe Williams stays fit.
  6. Appreciate people would rather the World Cup but Euro 2028 in the UK would be wonderful. I've yet to be alive for us hosting a tournament, I can only imagine it ramps up the excitement knowing it's happening close to home in familiar grounds. I can picture the beer gardens in 28 degree heat already! Edit - I was alive for us hosting a tournament, albeit I was very young and not interested.
  7. Gotta love that for Fam. Fair play to the big man. Wish he’d have done it while with us though, would’ve done his price no harm ?
  8. Another disappointing one yesterday, but we know change comes with some crap along the way. Fwiw, I fancy a (dare I say it) comfortable enough win on Wednesday. The following players may be unavailable though: Bentley Tanner Baker Atkinson Towler James King Bentley may be recovered from Covid by then, but I don’t expect to see any others. Certainly not King or Baker. Time to put some points on the board. COYR.
  9. 19/20 ended with Holden in charge.
  10. It’s clear as day to everyone we need to fix our defending, and while I like Max as a deputy I wonder is the more experienced Bentley needs a recall as soon as he’s recovered. On the plus side, it’s not a massively urgent issue given we are 99% guaranteed survival. It may be a case of having to make a big sale in the summer and using half the money to help the books and the other half to sort defence or something. Rubbish day today but a young squad will have bad days. A result on Wednesday with 3 or 4 goals and we’ll remember what we’re about. COYR.
  11. Horrible feeling Max will keep his place for the Reading game. At least he can keep his ‘2 or more’ record going.
  12. Yea that’s why I said ‘accident or not’.
  13. Yea that was weird. Ignoring all the VAR buzzwords he kept the ball under control with his hand. So handball. Accident or not.
  14. What a top guy. If he, Scott, Han-Noah and Pring buy into Nige’s vision for getting us promoted we could be in for some wonderful years. COYR
  15. Everywhere they gooooooooo B.C.F.C
  16. Manchester United has to be my pick (not been around too long as this answer may tell you)! Korey Smith's goal is the only City goal I've not celebrated with a yell, because I was genuinely stunned into a silence (with both hands in the air and my jaw on the floor). Into a semi-final of a major tournament, you can't help but start to dream. Then we drew Man City and I went home to bed.
  17. I’ll be keeping an eye on Senegal and hoping they do it. Good servant to us for those 4 years with some vital goals. Good luck Fammy!
  18. I’ll chip in if he asks. He’s the only one with the nards to call these useless tossers out.
  19. I love the optimism and I do share it, sadly it depends on some VERY big ‘if’s’. If we deal with the EFL and FFP and avoid a deduction, and if we keep hold of all/most our myriad of exceptional youngsters, and if some of the older heads lead the boys and stay consistent… then it could happen. But by god it will be difficult.
  20. Well refs certainly do. You don’t come 603rd out of 603 for penalties given (or whatever number it was) on sheer bad luck! I think refs are docked wages for any pens they give us.
  21. Gonna print this and stick it on my wall.
  22. Well it’s another point towards safety, which looks likely at this point, and we really do have some stellar youngsters. Some of the older heads doing excellent too. But this is too many 90+ goals. They really do **** your weekend up ?
  23. We COULD do, given he’s Swiss he might hate it though ?
  24. No new injuries from our unlucky trip to Luton. Onwards and upwards! Baker Cundy Atkinson Towler Tanner James King The signing of Klose (wilkommen!) eases the pressures of no Bakes or Atkinson, with the added good news that Atkinson just has a mild back spasm and shouldn’t be gone long. Hopefully see one of him or Matty James against a tricky PNE on Saturday. COYR
