Appreciate people would rather the World Cup but Euro 2028 in the UK would be wonderful. It’s clear as day to everyone we need to fix our defending, and while I like Max as a deputy I wonder is the more experienced Bentley needs a recall as soon as he’s recovered. If we deal with the EFL and FFP and avoid a deduction, and if we keep hold of all/most our myriad of exceptional youngsters, and if some of the older heads lead the boys and stay consistent… then it could happen.
