  1. Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all use one. Many others too but I don’t have time to do a club by club breakdown. The way I see it; look at some of the money we’ve wasted on salaries of late. One less Gustav Engvall gets us a psychologist. And if it isn’t a psychological issue @Lrrr, then I’ll hold my hands up and say experiment failed. But the cost to risk ratio means it’s surely bonkers not to try?
  2. Successful teams deploy one. I’m perfectly aware football and war are different, I’m also aware that the club should do things that improve results.
  3. Sums the week up ? I noticed Semenyo went straight to the bench rather than down the tunnel, so fingers crossed not much in that.
  4. Think I’m all done with this season. Let me know when we’re mathematically safe someone. Also, Bristol Post, don’t say people are fit to play if they aren’t a la Alex Scott. Your source is shit and so are you. I’m not in a very good mood. Kalas Baker Towler Tanner King Williams Palmer Scott O’Dowda Semenyo
  5. Yea been crying out for one. Bit too logical a thing for City to do.
  6. Great news from Nigel's presser today, Antoine and Alex are fine, and Williams is only gonna be 3 weeks out (much better than the alternative). O'Leary and Benarous confirmed Covid. O’Leary Kalas Baker Towler Tanner King Williams Palmer Benarous O’Dowda
  7. Deserved. Our front line is the reason we'll survive this season, not doing much wrong.
  8. I’m Pearson in still. Last season and this was about survival and we’ve done it, with (patchy) improvement on the Holden era. Attack is vastly improved, defence is of course still a big problem, but we’re safe. It also isn’t feasible to pay up the remaining two years of his deal in our current financial state.
  9. Thanks for the laugh but I do actually have one, we’ve done Derby no favours. Clutching I realise ?
  10. O’Leary Kalas Baker Towler Tanner King Williams Palmer Scott O’Dowda Semenyo ******* crap tonight. The only good news that can come out of it is good news on Semenyo and Scott’s injuries. Sadly I’d imagine Williams’ season is over. 11 injured players by the way. Physios sort it out.
  11. Great work to all, haven’t missed an episode since I first started listening last season. Here’s to the next 200. ??
  12. Yea I admit O'Leary's injury was an assumption on my part, I haven't heard anything. I figure Max having aggravated that knock from the Swansea game more likely than it just being about giving HWR the bench experience?
  13. I’d have Keith Stroud over Andy Davies mind. I think a Bristolian must’ve stole Davies’ wife or something.
  14. How nice is it to play a team missing key players and struggling for goals, and actually continue their woes? Especially when said team is 4th. Get in there. Forza Andi Weimann, City legend. O’Leary Kalas Baker Towler Tanner King Palmer O’Dowda Happy days. COYR.
  15. Wasn’t a penalty anyway. And if it was, we should’ve had a few more than our measly 1 this season!
  16. Large credit goes to Atkinson as well. He may be our best centre half from what I’ve seen this season. And I’m a big fan of Kalas, Baker and Klose! On paper, it’s bizarre how much we’ve struggled in defence.
  17. Bentley is of course a big part of the reason we’ve kept a clean sheet today. I don’t think it’s about Tomas’ absence. The people on here who seem to not realise Bentley’s ability baffles me.
  18. Future captain right there ?
  19. Another bloody annoying one yesterday, we've tended to win the games where we're 'due' a win this season but not this time. I appreciate the financial constraints are tight and this was always a 'rebuild' year where staying up is enough, and it's pretty nailed on we will. Still, since our barnstorming start under Dean in August 2020 I don't think we've been in good form at any time. We've been a difficult club to support but support we do. Anyway, rambling over, here's the update after the defeat and before HOPEFULLY a stop-the-rot battling draw with Blackburn next Saturday (far easier said than done...). Tanner Baker Towler King Palmer O’Dowda Klose A hat-trick of returns is a rare bit of good news, with Max, Kalas and Atkinson all fit for yesterday. We did lose Klose though, hopefully just a knock. Roll on next Saturday, give us something to cheer boys.
  20. If we are going to rest people I'd rather see it done in games where we don't really have a chance of points (Forest last weekend for example, Blackburn away soon). We can take points against against Brum at AG so I'd like to see a strong team.
  21. Good lord. Think that trip goes back down the list then. Thanks for the heads up!
  22. Always happy to see some Leeds tears. Plus I’m yet to do Elland Road, a big one I need to tick off.
  23. Back to back losses this week so not a very fun one, but we’re 17 points clear despite a few of the relegation teams nicking odd results. Birmingham next Saturday, I fancy we will give them a game. The following may not though: O'Leary Tanner - I've heard end of Feb. Baker Kalas Atkinson - I've heard end of Feb. Towler King Palmer O’Dowda Well we got Matty back but lost Kalas! Hopefully good news from the club soon. COYR.
