Have to go in summer, Bell in particular. Clearly neither are good enough for this level. We need to forget the academy and Mickey Bell connection, he needs to go.
I love the way that people use words like ‘clearly’ when expressing a potentially controversial opinion.

I don’t think it’s fair to judge Maierhofer on those three games.
One of them was the Plymouth game when GJ had that half time dressing room bust up. We played him up front and played the most ridiculous ‘hoof it high to the big bloke up front’ that I’ve ever seen. The GJ got the sack!
And the other two ‘appearances’ were as a sub in the 82nd and the 94th minute!
So I reckon in those three games he played under two manager, in at least two different positions, and had only one start!
He probably has more right to judge us as a club at that time than we do him….and you couldn’t blame him for having a poor opinion of us
He went in goal in one match, didn’t he?

People who say “Absolutely” rather than “Yes”
TV interviewers who ask people how they feel
Adverts in which people smile so widely they almost break their jaws, especially if for life insurance or funeral plans.
No apostrophe after names ending in s, as in the hairdresser near me called ‘Kris’ Barber”
Hugging relative strangers*
Telling relative strangers that you really love them*
[*cf The Traitors]
People who don’t know the difference between ‘infer’ and ‘imply’TV news readers and presenters who think it is humorous to pretend they are as thick as two short planks
People who laugh mockingly about things that happened in ‘the olden days’
Contestants on quiz shows who say they don’t know an answer because ‘they weren’t even born then’.
I could go on…

What is it that makes Anthony so completely dislikeable?

Okays let's be sensible here
Is SL really Going to fund a championship ready 20 goals striker before the end of Jan ?
As Manning made pretty clear on Radio Bristol yesterday, we are trying to sign a striker and it’s not lack of funds, or the willingness to part with them, that is frustrating us.

Osman may not have always got it right as a player or a manager, but I never saw him give less than 100% for us and that’s good enough for me. I was lucky to have a long 1:1 conversation with him as manager (a few days before the start of the season when he gave Hewlett and Wyatt their debuts) and there was no doubting his commitment. Ok, it didn’t work out but he managed that cup run, he deserved to be on the field on Saturday, and he deserved the fans’ applause.

Yep. A pitch parade for winning a F.A cup tie. It’s small club mentality . Sort of thing we’d rip the piss out of the 15er’s for doing . Isn’t there someone on here from S82 ? It’s tinpot lads. Oh & stop that ******* bouncing nonsense as well . Pathetic
Agree about the small club mentality point, but nothing at all wrong with bouncing.

Does that apply if you were do drop in a busy shopping centre?
You'd like people just to carry on with their day around you?
If I was taken ill in a busy shopping centre I’d hope that people would facilitate my treatment, but I wouldn’t expect the shopping centre to be closed after I’d been taken away.
Death is sad, and sometimes tragic, but inevitable for all of us. However, life goes on…

I really don’t understand the argument here. If your relative was fighting for their life at a game & the emergency services wanted it abandoned, why on earth not?
This person died, a game of football is really not important in the scheme of things & how someone can even question the decision to stop it totally baffles me.
If I had a heart attack while at a City match, I wouldn’t want the match abandoned. I’d want people to be able to enjoy something I loved. Personally I hope my death will inconvenience as few people as possible (unless they’re Tories of course).

Browns cv is better than Johnson who moved the best midfielder in the championship to full back to accommodate his boy in that final which they deserved to win unfortunately.
They were unlucky at AG that season too - McCombe worldie as I recall.
… while an international central defender (Vasko) sat on the bench and an experienced right back (Carey) remained at centre half. That decision, along with the medical staff’s ineptitude in failing to sport the severity of Brad’s injury, cost us a place in the Premier League.

If it’s the guy I’m thinking of then “get into em” is another one of his favourites and he gets very vocal about closing down.
Am I thinking of the same guy you are talking about ?
That’s him. Someone pm me a photo of him after the next home match

They're all over the stadium, including the bloke behind me in the Dolman - @GrahamC can hear him as well.
"FORWAAARD", "PASS IT", "FORWAAARD", "RUBBISH", "FORWAAARD".
Seemed like every couple of minutes at times - why shout it out at the top of his voice ?
I did politely(ish) ask him to refrain once and he didn't return for the second half, but I felt a bit guilty and my Mrs gave me one of her hard stares (the one that means "I'm gonna give you some stick later") so I've not said anything since. Double jeopardy.
Is he the one who also does “MOVE”? What seat is he in? His shouting drives me almost insane every match, but I’ve never worked out who he is…

That's a bit like Eric Morcombes(for the oldies) saying "all the right notes but in the wrong order"
Just to give it its full beauty: “I’m playing all the right notes… but not necessarily in the right order”.

How is going in with your studs in the air not endangering an opponent?
Every time a player tackles their studs are in the air. Perhaps they should outlaw tackling?

Nothing wrong with the tactics yesterday. Given that we knew Millwall would crowd the defence, it made sense to play a patient passing game in the for an hour, and then bring on Sykes, Bell and TGH as the defence tired. What went wrong was a) the injury to Sykes and b) several of the players didn’t play very well.
It amazes me how rarely players get criticised for simply not delivering. I thought some individuals were shocking yesterday. They’re professionals: they should have done better.
-
We know what Millwall are like. Contain them for 65 minutes then unleash Sykes, Bell and TGH. Looks to be working so far…

So frustrating. Forget the defeats it's these annoying draws against teams that sit back that is gonna cost us a play off push.
On the other hand, win your home games, draw your away games…

Did I really enjoy the football under Pearson- over the course of his tenure I would say slightly underwhelming so I hope the apparent more front football under Mannning continues and we can then see what happens when he has an opportunity to bring in his type of player in the summer.
Slightly underwhelming?? I think that’s extremely generous…
Great Result, but….

It used to be said that the mark of a good team is that they can play badly and win…
I’d be more angry if we played well and lost.
