It said choose Pay by Card or PayPal. There was no box for Pay by Card. Tried to put in card details to no avail. Fortunately I have a PayPal account so did it that way. Not encouraging though.

Parson Street! Accessable by direct train from Portway P&R (from August 1st) ?

I don’t think anyone is likely to get a train from Yatton to the Portway P&R. That isn’t the point that I was trying to make. Many people only see a P&R with a bus link. You stated: “I dont understand the need for a station there ether” Whilst the P&R provides a large car park right next to the railway line, which is less than a mile from the motorway, does it not make sense to utilise it? It provides another option for transportation into Bristol, or onto a multitude of other places, (including Yatton which, as I said, I chose because it is my nearest railway station). Parking at the P&R also negates the need to drive into the clean air zone. It will also be possible to park there and get a direct train to Parson Street, (useful for a visit to the Three Lions before a match!!!) As to your reference to CNX and MLN1, I have no idea what your point is or what you mean.

Is there any parking at Shirehampton station?

I used to live in a prefab which was exactly where the Avonmouth P&R is now. The nearest rail station to where I live now is Yatton, hence why I chose it. I'm not sure what you mean when you say that they are not even on the same line. You can get direct trains from Avonmouth to Yatton and from Yatton to Avonmouth. If I lived in the Shirehampton/Avonmouth area now, I would find the P&R platform very useful if I needed to make many train journeys.

How would you get from there to Yatton then?

I understood that the Oxford game was cancelled after we were drawn against them in the Carabao Cup. However, it appears that it is back on the fixture list again for Sat 22nd July at 3pm. Either I dreamt that it was cancelled or my old age is playing tricks again! ? Apologies!!!

I have Google Wallet on my smartphone (Moto G8 power) but have never used it. When I open the app, it states: “Device doesn’t support tap. You can still manage your cards and passes online and across Google”. I understand that the Digital Season Tickets are stored using NFC. However it would appear that my phone does not have NFC available or installed, having searched throughout the phone settings. I guess this means that downloading the Digital Season Ticket is pointless and that I need to request a physical card. True or false??? Any help or advice would be most welcome and appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.
