I could see Wilder getting Norwich if they bin Farke in the near future.

I think it's more shite squad backfiring unfortunately.
So disappointing that we seem to have gone miles backwards in that respect in the last few years.

It's likely anyone would struggle to get a tune out of these players to be honest. We just seem to be hanging on to the January window, I hope we can afford and attract the type of players we desperately need.
If not - job for Nuno

I do wish Vyner would stop bloody 'launching' it - translates as aimless ball forward, goal kick.

I do hate this poncing around with the ball for 20 minutes just cus yer 5 up, appreciate they can enjoy taking it easy but as a spectator I want them to get stuck in for the full 90 minutes.

IMO we should aim to avoid business in January if possible - it's a dreadful market to try and buy in. If something happens to come up then great, but chances are that we'd have to pay over the odds for what we'd want. That includes loans too, which have many associated fees that fans often forget about - they're not free. Unless things go south and we really are looking in big trouble, then I'm happy for us to hold out until next summer for signings.
I agree with you about the January market being dreadful and I also believe there are 3 worse teams than us. My concern though is if we actually finished just above the relegation zone it will affect the quality of the players we could attract in the summer.
I think we really do need to get a couple of signings in the Jan window, we have to give ourselves the best chance of finishing as high up the league as we can this season, which will hopefully help us with the quality of the summer signings.

The squad is thin on quality for sure, once the subs come into play it all seems to fall apart.
But what is this sitting deep after 75 minutes all about, we were playing OK I thought and then clock hits 75mins and you couldn't see a City player anywhere near the half way line and the battering begins.
If its the players mentality causing it then that needs to be addressed, but if it is down to Pearson's tactics he needs to change them and quick cus we just can't see a game out at home.

It's Steve Brooker all over again, really rated that guy but it was just injury after injury, gutted.

Just read on Sky that if Bruce is relieved of his duties prior to the weekend as expected, he's due about £8m in compensation.

Winning 1-0 at Liverpool in the cup, Tinnion's goal, singing "you're getting sacked in the morning" and then Souness getting sacked in the morning

Having shite loads of money still doesn't mean they'll definitely be able to recruit the quality of player they need.
Can't see them anywhere near qualifying for Europe next year and to recruit top players European football seems to be a must these days.
Looking forward to them panic buying overpaid journeymen in January and then hopefully relegation

Let's face it going one down to Fulham in the not so distant past would have led to a definite defeat.
Point gained yesterday rather than 2 lost, showing a bit of backbone which was sadly lacking last season and up to 8th. We are going in the right direction, don't think you can ask for more at the current time.

So since 2014 he has been at Wigan, MK dons, Aberdeen, Bury, Mansfield, Newport County and now the might Tranmere Rovers.. undoubtedly he has made millions of £ from the game but christ what a dire career he has had by and large since leaving us.
All to avoid picking up a Bristol accent

As I understand it if he was found guilty then the injured victims can sue him in the civil courts for damages.
Hopefully his millions will then be taken away. Again IF he's guilty.

I'm not sure the delay is going to save Derby for anything more than one season. It would appear that they are still under a transfer embargo, possibly a hard one by now. That with a potential significant points deduction in the upcoming season is going to make their life very difficult.
I think you're probably right in this respect, to me it shows what a crappy disciplinary system it is though. The fact that Derby will get their comeuppance a season late will be absolutely no consolation to Wycombe who will have been shafted by then anyway.

I can't understand why Wycombe and their Lawyers aren't all over the EFL about this. A few points deduction for Derby sees them retain Championship football. On that basis they surely have the right to harass the EFL for a prompt decision.
Whilst I'm not at all surprised that nothing has been heard from the EFL, I'm just amazed that it's been all quiet from the Wycombe lot.

Think I'd be happy to get £3m-£4m for Semenyo, give Louis Britton a go at the striker role but look to bring in a decent winger then with the monies. Think we dropped a bollock letting Elliason go as a provider.

I've had a look through where E10 and E12 rules broken.
Yet to find anyone have a points deduction
I thought they couldn't benefit from playing an ineligible player so surely the point they gained from that match would be deducted at the very least.
-
Anybody know how long it normally takes for a decision on a possible points deduction? Birmingham had until yesterday to respond to the ineligible player charge and as the final game of the season is Sunday I thought there'd have been an announcement by now.

Possible points deduction?
I thought any team playing an ineligible player automatically lose any points gained in said game, so as a bare minimum that should be the one point from the draw. That puts Birmingham back in the mix, then hopefully they cop at least 2 penalty points deducted too for an actual punishment.

Didn't think QPR were any worse than Bolton were last year - yet we beat QPR with key players missing for us tonight and remember we lost to Bolton when we had a strong team.
Grinding out these wins will make a hell of a difference to where we finish this year - great 3 points tonight. COYR

Never doubted it for a minute
