  1. Think Saturday will be very telling. Will he go in to job saving mode and pick a team and formation that will (almost) guarantee a performance or carry on like a headless chicken with his possession based bore fest.
  2. Which is why many season ticket holders, me included, are erring against renewing, as next season will be another write off when he gets sacked in November.
  3. He used to press like a maniac, he can win 50/50's. Has only been complaining in game since December (bourne out of sheer frustration). He will score bag fulls of goals in the right set up.
  4. Shame really, all the posters that could clearly see what Manning was doing and were excited by it have disappeared. Otherwise they could have explained what they were seeing.
  5. Funny how we were heading in the right direction with ex Premier League manager, players and PL winners. Better to have a Premier League mindset than League One.
  6. Maybe not this season but ShaunTaylor is right. If League one is your mentality then that's where you will end up.
  7. Not only Nige, but AS and 'Daddy,' too.
  8. Exactly. Moments earlier he had been booed for going backwards again. In fact the whole ground was getting edgy and on the point of 'turning.'
  9. Did he mention 'behaviours ' ?
  10. £5 million. No chance he is here next season.
  11. Thanks I know Norwich are in their last year, wasn't actually sure on Watford and didn't have time to fact check before posting.
  12. Neither West Brom or Watford are in receipt of Parachute payments. You also fail to recognise that in October we were on (admittedly) slow upward trajectory, that imo would have bourne fruit with a play off challenge next season. So no I do not see what you are getting at. The situation isn't bleak but it's not exactly enthralling, either.
  13. Clearly haven't ever watched Anthony Martial play then, or Rashford in 2 of the last 3 seasons. There are many players over the years that have put in anything but 100%. As for "We aren't doing badly." I'm glad you are satisfied with mediocre. We are no better off than we were in October. The past 6 months with our new Head Coach have not improved us. You keep spouting the 2 matches he got it right when in fact half of one of those matches also falls in to the dismal to watch category and was in fact called out as such on here.
  14. So you honestly think that if Medube wasn't here and Bell now injured that there wouldn't be a place for a pacy 17 Yr old with Championship experience on the bench.
  15. That's my memory. When he did play it was deeper (no.10). Seemed to be competing with KP for the same position.
  16. Zak's form coincided with us going to a back 4 and the Zak Vyner song being 'born' away at Swansea in the cup replay. It's telling that his form has regressed recently with the chopping and changing of formations, particularly a back 3/5 which doesn't suit Zak's concentration levels or awareness of danger.
  17. See the Yeboah thread for your answer.
  18. So in 270 minutes we have seen a player that we have an option to buy (He cost his belgian club in excess of £1.5 million) for a lot of money for just 30 minutes. As I said he was brought in for the here and now, seeing that LM had already dropped Yeboah from the first team picture. Strange that he hasn't used him more.
  19. Point 2 is spot on, particularly as they were working on bringing Medube in.
  20. Why was he not used against Wednesday last weekend, if he is as good as you make out ?
  21. Cant believe he's just going turn up with his boots at 3pm every Saturday.
  22. Without derailing this thread as there is already one on Medube. 1. He is not new to this country 2. He comes with a £1.75 million price tag round his neck. 3. Our amazing talent spotting Head Coach wanted him for the here and now, despite no experience of mens football. 4. OTIB posters didnt throw him in at the deep end without arm bands but our highly respected young Head coach did. We as fans saw and commented on the results of this idiocy.
  23. If Yeboah had been that poor in his first game, no doubt, Pearson would have hastily returned him to the U21's. The fact he stayed around the first team squad and was getting regular minutes tells its own story. Suddenly change of Manager, pathway blocked by a similar player with less experience in mens football and now shunted out the door. What happened to gaining experience training day in day out with Championship players. That has to be better than playing half a dozen games for Bath City imo. If Manning is such an amazing youth coach why has he not kept him here to try and improve him ? Surely that is the primary role of a Head coach (improve players).
  24. Could always stand in the dressing room at 12.15 Saturday and just tell them to forget all the nonsense that he has been trying to pump in to their heads, remind them its a derby that we desperately need a win and to just go out there, roll their sleeves up, be themselves and play with a bit of freedom. Couldnt be any worse than what weve had to endure to date.
