  1. How about a loyalty scheme based on those fans that attend the last 3 home games of the season, if Manning is still here.
  2. Ha ha was it that long ago. Went to the Swindon game and found a pub 5 minutes away from the ground to watch England. Actually also had tickets for the England game but had no intention of travelling, just needed them for extra points /caps towards tickets for the 2000 Euros.
  3. Tbf the club have more than done their bit since November. Now you can enjoy your travel and sleep during the game.
  4. Pretty sure Liverpool are doing the same thing we are with the South Stand. If a seat isn't renewed then it will no longer be available as a season ticket.
  5. I appreciate its probably only a small percentage of fans but some of us have no interest in social media (Facebook, X and whatever else there is). I now get my City news from this site. As stated there is always someone on here who will post info Either before its on the OS, or very shortly afterwards.
  6. Not when he realises what a great 'on the grass' coach LM is and how much he will improve as a player.
  7. Stopped using it since it was changed at the start of the season. Very poorly designed and not at all user friendly. If I want to look up future fixtures I now use BBC sport. On the lap top you have to scroll through several pages as it only shows 3 fixtures at a time. Awful
  8. 'Tourists' is not a term used to describe the type of fan that you are. A tourist is someone (Japanese / American) who has no affiliation to a club but is quite happy to pay £100 plus for a ticket to a Premier League game and then spend double that in the club shop. There are 1000's of such people who are classed as this which is why Premier League clubs (Spurs and Liverpool lately) restrict season ticket sales. Long term they make far more money from the 'tourists' than they do Season ticket holders who get a reduced price seat and buy a beer in their local before entering the ground.
  9. I believe Port Said Red is the Captain of said ship.
  10. As has been said on here many times NP only went public after ĥe had been asked to 'stand down' after the Leeds game early October last year.
  11. Thought it was Patch but could be wrong.
  12. Fwiw I thought he would be here next season then hand the reigns over to Andy King and take a watching brief for 6 months or so.
  13. Thanks but you could have saved yourself time. Davefevs posted those stats yesterday. We are better without the ball and Mannings best performances have come by playing 'Nigeball.'
  14. They do that every year but the 'draw' and free ticket usually find their way to someone associated with the club (well it did a couple of years ago).
  15. Bet he regrets pulling out of last November's Internationals in favour of training with the 'new manager,' now.
  16. Love your 6th word. Not according to your poster boy. Actually, you've put so many words into one sentence, you've outed yourself. You are Liam Manning.
  17. The result against Swansea should have been immaterial. SL was there and saw with his own eyes what a sh*t show it was. To then lose meakly to WBA should have been the end. I can only guess that JL and BT did some ott tongue work to save their own faces and LM,' s job. There is no way back now for LM. Once you totally lose the fan base that's it. Win 6 of the next 8 and this dismal 6 months will always come back to haunt him. I can't think of a single manager that lost the fanbase and turned it around. Get rid now.
  18. What the Lansdowns fail to understand is that building momentum takes time. In the cases of Luton and Brentford 2/3 years. We were on that trajectory and in my opinion 18 months from cracking into the play offs / top 6.
  19. Yes funny that, not a peep from them. All with their, 'I can see what he's doing, ' love all the extra shots on target.' ' Definately see green shoots' Where are they now.
  20. As has been reported numerous times, it wasn't a toxic atmosphere and there were about 50 in S82 singing'we want Pearson out.' (and 4 times as many telling them to shut the eff up). Yes if he'd been sacked the next day there would have been a few grumbles on here but most including the infamous 'cult of nige.' Would have accepted it.
  21. I guess Manning would suit cricket perfectly. Both like watching paint dry.
  22. And yet they paid 2.5 million for Josh Bowler and loaned him to Olympiakos a few days later. plus other examples of money wasted needlessly (Lingard / Shelvey).
  23. Just finished listening and have to disagree with JP's assertion that LM isn't throwing players under the bus. How is constantly saying we lack quality up front /going forward not throwing the likes of Tommy under the bus ?
