  1. Depends how you win that point for me. Stifle the crud out of the game and send everyone to sleep. Would be happier with a battling all action narrow 3-2 loss. Let's show some intent and play to our strengths.
  2. Cheerio, cheerio. Cheerio
  3. There actually is quite a long line of wealthy ( mainly American) people looking to buy EFL clubs. It just so happens (see other threads) that what we are selling is hugely bloated and over priced.
  4. Nothing wrong with being a solid Champioship club, if the football is attractive and fans can see that the owner is 100 per cent committed to taking the leap to the next level. What isn't acceptable is being a mid table Championship club where the football is akin to a snore fest, the owner has given up and handed everything over to an incompetent (liar) heir.
  5. Pretty sure Gavin Marshall said,"we made the change, because we want promotion THIS season."
  6. 2-0 up home to Stoke and losing 3-2 really did for him imo.
  7. Pretty sure Mr Pops has indicated 1.4 ppg, including Curtis H win v Sheff Wed.
  8. How is finishing 10th a decent season ? That was surely the bare minimum requirement.
  9. Ha, thought he was the bloke with the beard. Just shows how much attention I've been paying since November.
  10. In a nutshell. Who wants to buy 3 loss making teams In one hit.
  11. Add to that the women's teams (I assume there is a womens rugby team)
  12. I wasn't at the Brum game so can't comment on that. Preston wasn't poor. We took the only point they dropped in the opening 7 games or so in gale force winds. I haven't hand picked games only ones I attended and enjoyed. I was answering your original question.
  13. If you read the whole post, I said we were inconsistent. In my opinion the football was not as poor, certainly not as mind numbingly boring. It's all about opinions, yours is that 180 v Middlesborough was entertaining. My opinion is that the home game was also poor as was the 2nd half away.
  14. No it wasnt. Millwall A was excellent. Swansea A, we battered them. Plymouth H, 4 goals. Stoke H 2 goals up and threw it away, but it wasn't poor. End of last season QPR A, Burnley H we were very good. No I don't think the football was poor before Manning was appointed. Inconsistent, yes. Poor definitely not.
  15. Blimey, only a couple. I would love to know which 4 games you enjoyed and were entertained watching out of these bore fests. Swansea, Cardiff, Millwall, QPR, Leeds and Sunderland.
  16. Changed nothing for me. I don't appreciate being lied to continuously by people I do business with. 2 matches mean nothing. The football has been poor to watch since Manning took over. I will reasses in the autumn when half season tickets are announced.
  17. I'm no financial whizz, but your monthly contract is with the finance company who make their profit from the interest you pay. Surely they pay the club up front for your ticket purchase. Happy to be proved wrong.
  18. Done RD, TC, 2 random women and @Ole champagne moment as above.
  19. Agree. Seems a very strange situation all round and one I think we should be steering well clear of.
  20. None of those mentioned cost £1.75 million, though.
  21. A cracking day for the armchair fan today. Leicester V Norwich Plymouth V City (RTV) Ipswich V Southampton. and if you must.... Leeds V Hull
  22. Why West Ham, what about his Man City connections. We got Medube, what more do you want ? TBF the Moyes / Newman connection has done nothing so can't see Manning having any influence.
  23. I named my first budgie, Bobby, after Bobby Moore circa 1970.
