Forgot about that . I remember the last game before football stopped the 1-1 draw with Fulham he made some incredible saves his shot stopping was unreal at times .

I honestly thought maenpaa was the best keeper we’ve had in years . Preferred him to bents just can’t understand why he didn’t really get a decent run in the side , maybe down to the fee we paid for bents .

approx 900 millwall followers heading to the Gate
Wiltshire robin replied to Never to the dark side's topic in Football Chat
Kicked off the night before the game a couple years ago . Millwall fans ended up running away and trying to barricade themselves inside a pub . -
King was stupid but every time we had momentum the ref purposely stopped it . That officiating was as bad as Keith Stroud . Anyone know who the ref was ?

We should of had free kicks before both of their goals . That red was a comple manual manipulator most bias I’ve seen for years .

Exactly I really hope we win but for example max O’Leary- not championship standard and only rated because he’s local and from the academy. vyner- awful defender who will probably end up with more assists against us than for us. andy king - old enough he’ll be shitting the bed soon semenyo- would struggle to score if you made the goal ten foot wider

Such a shit hole That’s not a dig at the general public as I know loads of amazingly kind Chinese people but what a dictatorship. -

Yeh I understand All the clubs you have named though have had seasons in the prem and other successes and probably will be back in the champ going for play offs before we ever are.

I actually agree with him about the expectation point he made . Couple of my mates are big Leeds fans and I’ve been to elland road with them loads of times and it’s a completely different culture. They are very revolved around football up there and very vocal in letting the club understand how they feel but when we’re not doing as well as expected most of our fans just sit on their hands or don’t show up . As stated in other threads the layout of the ground doesn’t help but if people really want to have Bristol city to not be looked upon as a fan base who aren’t really fussed then they need to be vocal and not just leave it up to section 82 all the time .

Very true

Agreed and I don’t think I can make an opinion on Gould as he hasn’t been here long but what worries me is successful clubs at this level get in decent football CEO’s whilst we’ve employed a cricket man .

It is terrible tbh i have taken many friends who are season ticket holders at other champ and efl clubs and they couldn’t believe how small the shop is and how little merch we have there. Also people with me couldn’t believe that with how small the shop is half of it is filled with rugby and basketball ball stuff which was just embarrassing. I think it’s without a doubt the smallest and worst store in the champ let alone league one .

Tbh the crowds they get down the gate since they moved here have been huge compared to what they got at the potato patch. If they did lose any fans they certainly gained more than what they lost.
