  1. Sorry I don’t know much about the u23 . I thought it was Sam bell didn’t know there was another ?
  2. That’s probably who I’m on about , apparently he’s highly rated so will be good to get to watch him. Highly thought of then? have you seen much of him?
  3. Was Kadji the one who traveled with the squad to Bournemouth?
  4. Can’t argue with that . Done well to get those you’ve mentioned
  5. I agree with you in theory it should be but with prem clubs set up in the Bristol area and Gloucester and even here in Wiltshire it’s still hard to compete
  6. I don’t think geographical location matters when it comes to our academy. Lots of Bristol kids and other locals end up going to Chelsea and Southampton as they both are heavily invested in scouting the West Country , both clubs have a private school they send academy kids to in the bath area so they can still live local .
  7. That’s the problem with some of our fan base . Happy to accept going down and being a club with no ambition.
  8. The amount of people I’ve seen defending them over the last couple of days saying stuff like we wouldn’t have a club without them is comical. The debt we’ve had over the years is purely down to them whilst every club of a similar size has overtaken us. Appreciate the shiny new stand but god it really is time for lansdown to either put his ego to the side or let someone with some brain cells have a go
  9. No point it wouldn’t be anything but waffle about how we have the new training ground and how we want to develop young players and get to the prem . It’s boring hearing them talk about it whilst other clubs get on and do it . Anyway rant over I’m sure they’ll come out of hibernation at the end of the season .
  10. Isn’t king doing some coaching badges ? If so can see him sticking around as a coach/squad player
  11. I appreciate that he put lots of effort and basically spent all his free time on Bristol city whilst he was manager but would be pissed if he come back , but wouldn’t be surprised
  12. It’s everything to do with the owner . He allowed Johnson and Ashton to piss this club to pieces . The problem is the lansdowns and will continue to be , we had loads of decent applicants after Johnson was sacked but after talking with the lansdowns none of them wanted anything to do with us .
  13. And yet people still think he’s the messiah. I agree nige has been disappointing but having a competent owner at this club would be a start , changing manager won’t do much in the long term .
  14. Will they be the next team to get to the Prem before us ? . Also what’s everyone’s thoughts on the new ownership with crypto currency being a very volatile market? https://fanbanter.co.uk/crawley-town-astonish-fans-with-statement-crypto-group-takeover-club-with-big-plans/
  15. Benzema and lewandoski never winning a ballon d‘or is criminal
  16. I haven’t been watching the game but it’s Mike deans last season so he’ll spend most of it milking the lime light.
  17. Good if the team you support play like it but as a neutral it’s mind numbing.
  18. Yes The club would make so much money from being in the prem it wouldn’t need to increase season ticket prices . That’s just pure greed from Fulham and if city ever raised ours that high I’d have no problem walking away from the club and not watching again.
  19. Forgot about the timing of the tournament what a shambles .
  20. Hoping he starts He loves to score goals in that soulless cesspit .
  21. Like said above it still works out cheaper with a season ticket . It’s much better than £39 a game for non members no wonder the grounds half empty every game now . Seen a chart the other day with prices for all champ clubs and we were joint most expensive with Fulham I think .
