As much as someone who likes to try and beat up people in the name of a team that kicks a round object around can do, yeah

”I might well kick a black guys head in but it’s because of the football team he supports not the colour of his skin!”

Hand out the Nobel peace prize now

Tbh I don’t see the problem if two groups of people from different clubs want to fight let them get on with it as long as innocents don’t get hurt what’s the issue

After theycommitted state sponsored murder in the Turkish embassy with a journalist who they didn't like, I'm amazed that anyone can be OK with this.

It’s funny how the people at the top of English football will push campaigns about equality and rashfords campaign for kids ( rightly so) and then bury their head in the sands when it comes to the Saudis.

You are joking aren't you, Newcastle is a lovely city that beats bristol in just about everything! The coastline all the way along is absolutely stunning with lots of regenerated coastal towns.

Its way for us southerners to say it's grim up there, but really it's not!

Ok maybe I was a bit over the top about Newcastle but Middlesbrough and Sunderland are pretty much like bigger versions of yate before it was redeveloped.

That doesnt explain the relative success of Norwich, Swansea, Bournemouth etc who are all pretty much out in the sticks. I don't think location makes one jot of difference to a player joining. Money on offer is the only thing these guys take into account.

Add Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Newcastle to that too, proper grim up there .

Nice opinion. but I disagree. they'll be back in the championship next season

They will be back in the championship but then they will be back in the prem again before we ever get there

Poorly ran club. Incredibly grateful to have someone like SL.

They are  not that poorly ran , never really in financial crisis and spend as much time in the prem as they do the championship.

i would much rather be in their position than ours .

I wonder what reception Reid, Bryan and Mawson will get?

Reid was “always Bristol City to me” before he went to Cardiff, will he still be welcomed?

Bryan was “one of our own” and part of the famous Man Utd beating side so should be assured a good reception.

Mawson? Well he looked really good until injured but hardly that memorable so perhaps a muted reaction?

Bryan should get a good recpeption

reids a funny one as he’s born and raised in Bristol and supports Liverpool not city , he also left to Cardiff and knowing a couple of people close to him apparently he has no love for city at all and couldn’t wait for a chance to leave

Price then becomes a problem though.

I say this as someone who thinks as many seats/spaces as possible should be devoted towards a proper standing end.

    You’re right mate

prices in the lansdown are disgusting and with a lot of working class areas near Ashton gate the club should be encouraging people in the area to come instead of pricing them out .

The way I see it is more people in the stadium the more the club will make of refreshments and other things such as the club shop.

A few people have mentioned that, in the past, season ticket holders  have been moved against their will, so it’s therefore ok to move people to increase standing. Unfortunately, two wrongs don’t make a right. Apart from the fact that some people won’t want to move another problem is, where would they go? A lot of people sit with groups of fiends. Finding spare, similar size, groups of seats in the south stand could be very difficult. Would splitting them up “for the greater good” be acceptable?

Plenty of empty seats in the lansdown with a better view than the south stand.

  11. What a joke

Everyone who got a season ticket there knows it was unreserved and works absolutely fine with no issues

only thing I can think of is some prawn sandwich brigader got a ticket in section 82 this season and has complained
