  1. Anyone think tinnion signings of mehmeti and roberts and the lack of game time they have been given is also part reason Pearson has been moved on? Clearly tinnion has made issue with some of the team selections (king for example) so I reckon there was no doubt friction with this

  2. Is his career with us done before it’s even started?

seemingly can’t get a game, 17YO’s being selected over him. Is it that he’s not performing in training? Does he simply not suit the way we play nor fit in to the formation we play?
genuinely would love to see him get a regular chance but is he simply another szmodics who was signed on a good deal but immediately not liked by the manager so ends up leaving quickly due to lack of opportunity?

would be a shame given he is so highly rated. Would definitely do well at other championship clubs given the chance.

  3. Isn’t the remit to be self sustainable? That term essentially means sell to fund future purchases. The semenyo sale funded the signings that have come through the door already so the Scott sale should offer some decent funding to further strengthen. Lansdown is essentially going against his own remit to restrict the budget despite the sake of Scott. They need to be pulled up on this because if we can use money generated from sales, and Lansdown won’t spend any other money how the hell are we ever supposed to progress?

  4. Is it just me or have we massively upgraded our midfield this season with Knight and THG. Both young, high energy, increase in quality and both driven and forward thinking.

huge upgrade on Williams, king and even James who are much older, susceptible to injuries and aside from James, lacking any real quality on the ball.

Definitely a step in the right direction but we are still just missing that jigsaw piece that offers creativity, and that can create havoc by turning and driving at and through the opposition in the 10 spot. (Maybe where Murphy came in before that seemingly fell flat on its face)

  5. Don’t care as to the reaction but what really needs to happen is for the Lansdown to sell up and bugger off and let proper football owners help us progress further. They are definitely holding us back imo. Don’t care for the sentiment of he always saves us financially, that’s his job as an owner. The fact he has to do that all the time shows he’s not a very good football club owner. How many clubs have passed us whilst we continue to tread water? Get them gone and then we can move forward

  6. The biggest aspect he needed to improve on was decision making. Many times he chose the wrong pass at the wrong time. I believe we will have been working on that so we may not see as many take ons because he will be thinking and looking where to pass rather than just taking on a man without thinking of the end product. He will be dangerous but also has even greater competition from bell this year who has come on leaps and bounds

  7. Doubt we will ever see a sell on if he goes to Bournemouth. Take Kelly as an example. Although proven premier league worthy, not been of interest to any bigger club. Bournemouth style of play and the fact they are regular relegation fodder compared to the likes of Brighton who in contrast are much more progressive, have a history of buying players, developing them and selling them on for greater fees mean in my eyes, Bournemouth is a terrible move for us and possibly for him. I see it better for him to stay with us again, smash the championship and prove to clubs higher up the ladder he is worth a bigger offer
