  1. Maybe they wanted out after last season and that is why they are not in the Managers plans. So why should we blame Pearson.
  2. Lansdown is a billionaire. Could he not stretch to another couple of signings we have paid for one player so far.
  3. Make do and mend In spite of our billionaire owner. How he could not give funds for a striker I still find hard to believe. Pearson wanted two defenders , two midfielders and a striker. Of the four who joined a fee was paid for one only. Yet still SL will not fund a striker.
  4. Let's hope so. Gregor is a very sad example of a journalist and shows what he thinks of City by now trying to undermine Pearson. Kick him out.
  5. I don't think Pearson has been left much to sell. It needed a cash injection from Lansdown which was not forthcoming. As most of the saleable assets were sold and replaced with what we have now. I am not sure if Pearson or any Manager will turn this lot around. Ultimately the situation is we are in is down to Lansdown.
  6. I wonder how he won promotions at previous clubs if his management style and communication is that bad then.
  7. Who do you think reduced the team to this level. It is thanks to Johnson and Holden we are here now and why it is proving so hard to turn things around.
  8. It is different the transfer budget was 1.5million and we cannot afford the striker we desperately needed. How long do you think it takes to turn a team around from relegation form to a quality team. I think it is longer than 7 months.
  9. I thought that the fact we are apparently a lot fitter now would mean we would be more able to cope with this type of situation. But I suppose it is early days yet. But a shame that we have already dropped points at home.
  10. One day I hope to get the feeling out of me that you know this would happen. Very disappointing.
  11. I thought he wanted to go.
  12. I find it disappointing that after a season when he has improved so much that their are rumours we might be selling him. How does the team/squad ever improve by continuing to do this.
  13. What a magnificent result. It is incredible what Pat Lam has done. Every player gives all he has got in every game. The whole squad believe in him and the Bears. And it shows. The contrast to our set up at City is stark to say the least. And it is not just about the big names the whole squad have raised their game.
  14. Every season is the same with Johnson and his team's. When we are at the business of end and performance and determination are needed he and his team fall away. No bottle. No grit. Every year he does it and every year Lansdown let's it happen. Shocking management at both football and board level.
  15. Good stuff I say. It is about time the EFL got held to account for the feeble job they do enforcing FFP.
  16. What happened to the days when a manager knew his best team and regularly played it. Constant changes by Johnson game by game and the obsession of playing Paterson , when he has been useless for 9 months , leads to a lack of consistency and performance week in week out. When is Johnson ever going to learn.
  17. He adds nothing but gets picked every week. It is a joke.
  18. It would be the perfect start to beat Bath and a hell of an achievement. Let's hope they can. C'mon Bris.
  19. Johnson is back to sticking a pin in the subs list and sending on whoever's name it lands on. No joined up thinking or logic applied.
  20. More worrying is that he contributes nothing and gets selected. And Korey Smith on the bench. Madness.
