  1. This bit makes me wonder: The contract is in two stages, with an initial £6.14M for the design of the for multi-disciplinary works on the project including 5.5km of new railway between Pill and Portishead, with new stations at both. A business case will then be put forward in spring 2024, after which VolkerFitzpatrick will be instructed to construct the line if it is given the green light. Funding is in place, planning permission granted. Business case for what?
  2. A few nuggets in what is mainly dross
  3. Save your tenner - no chance. More like 50-1 odds. Anyone in the current top 10 can still make it in but we are too far behind and as others have said we have to play the better teams at the end. Reckon we will end up with 60-65 points. +10/15 on last year which will be good and put us in the middle of the table.
  4. Got to hit them hard, rather than fining them. Teach them a lesson. Chelsea gotta be bricking it as well surely?
  5. Southampton are down with this chancer in charge. Full of himself
  6. Spot on article from Matt Dawson on BBC website. Playing Farrell and giving him the captaincy for England has given Borthwick a problem.
  7. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to wish the kid all the best. What a ****
  8. France by far the favourites followed by Ireland. After that England under Borthwick have to perform. Just need to beat Wales and the Jocks tbh
  9. 129-3 after 30, to get nearly 350 is incredible
  10. For me its almost working miracles to cut wages so much, and effectively be in a similar position on the pitch. I think this is overlooked by so many. It's a real credit to the club we have been able to fall back on the academy players - say what you like about previous leadership but you have to give them credit for planting those seeds. So what has our wage bill gone from, at its peak, to now? And how much more would getting rid of JD and Kalas save?
  11. This whole January has been amazing. Unbeaten. Cash in the bank. Wage bill nearly sorted. Cup draw. These 3 or 4 players would top it off. Happy days after 3 / 4 years of crap
  12. My mate reckons Nailsea Waitrose is the place to go now for sightings. Then again, he is very "Nailsea"
  13. Dude that owns the car park next to the cricket ground right now :
  14. He is 41. Good Man management skills also comes from life experience - that was the wider point is was making
