There may have been "informal" talks with his agent re personal terms with interested clubs.
But AS knows he can expect £30k per week minimum anyway (more likely to be around 40k-50k imo).
I wouldn't expect City to accept 10m, they are holding the cards at this time and some clubs will become desperate to get players in towards the end of the window so I can see City holding out. Bournemouth have shown their hand early with two bids apparently, maybe they are getting a bit desperate already ?
Whatever, he's likely to be gone this window.
If there’s a chance to double or even triple your wage who would be stupid enough to not try force a move

I wonder how much truth is in the article and if this gets done soon. If the player wants the move it and personal terms have been agreed then surely his heads not with us. 10mill with add ons seems fair.

Don't sell.
And just let him leave for next to nothing next season or for a minimal fee in the summer?

If the £8m bid is true, I would imagine it wouldn't take much more for is to accept.
10 mill plus add ons if they stay up, also a good sell on % should do it

Don't get it done and don't bother with new signings, at this point in time.
Think of longer term. This form isn’t gunna last forever and our squad is thin. Selling AS for a decent sum will allow us to sign a few players of real quality fingers crossed and add depth to the squad

Get this done as soon as possible, allows us enough time to get some new signings in

Tomorrow screams of a 1-0 Brum win, Khadra goal

Wolves signing Joao Gomes from Flamengo for 17 mill so probably rules them out of signing Scott

Linked with wolves now

just want these transfers done quick so we can get replacements in asap

Shitting myself a bit here, not gonna lie.
It’s going to happen at some point. Allows us to sign some decent players this window if goes through

I noticed their Coach mentioned how they were unable to keep up their intensity in the second half, and that our system change caused them problems. One thing NP has done, is get our players fit and capable to play with intensity for a full 90 mins.
As you know, I'm not a fan of wing backs. I hope we do go 433/343 at some point to test our capabilities.
Sykes, Atkinson, Naismith, Pring,
Williams, James, Scott,
Weimann, Conway, Wells.
Line up like that.
Tanner can cover Sykes. As can Vyner also at CB.
Semenyo and Bell to cover forwards.
Playing Sykes and Pring as ' flying full backs, you have enough defensive cover from the middle 3, plus they also offer offensive qualities.
I look at our players and see the qualities they have that suit 433... I'd love to know why NP hasn't used it more often and why he thinks it hasn't been capable, yet now seems to be seeing it as a possibility.
Sykes full back, really?

that was an absolute shambles. Making them look like a prem team.

It's got a definite feel of Brownhill 2.0, you're right.
And I can't see Scott out and Khadra in, should that happen, as being sufficient improvement in midfield. Personally, I'd like to see another midfielder arrive too - perhaps someone from the list of CDMs Pearson had under consideration last summer.
We’ve been crying out for a proper defensive midfielder for years

this might not help us keep Scott!
i hope that adds a few more million

15m plus add ons seems fair. I just hope if he goes along with Semenyo, we have the replacements lined up aswell as a lot of the money received to re invest on the squad.
