I’m amazed they’ve bought a sub on in the 44th minute!
8 mins of stoppage time to get through I guess.

This is awful luck, but they are putting so much heart into this, cone on hoys!!
Well, they do say we play well against the big teams in front of the cameras!

one of the shortest long throws I've ever seen just then.
Playing well though. come on you young reds

another one bites the dust

Commentators suggesting that, as we are not a category 1 academy, we don't "play through the thirds" but have a "contrasting style" (ie. route 1?) Not front foot anyway!
Great ball in from a corner just then, nearly took the lead.

Said in the matchday thread I was watching him in the warm up. He was half hearted to say the least.
Then he disappeared down the tunnel after about 20 mins. Think he reappeared later but was still a bit odd.

Well done Liam and the boys
I was Manning out even after Swansea. Still has some work to do to convince me that he's the right man. But today he deserves some credit - made some changes at half time after a very poor opening 30. We came out vastly improved in the second half - often we have got worse so that was good to see. Didn't wait until 60 mins to change it!
Mehmeti was lively, direct, everything we need him to be, especially second half. I'm sure they were relieved to see him go off (pre-planned?) especially to be replaced by Cornick. I've not seen him live very much - he runs about a lot, but I haven't seen a professional football player look so ungainly and strike the ball so un-cleanly. (Not just talking about the shot that turned into a great pass to Sykes!)
Vyner looked calm and classy, Knight very good to watch in that deeper role. Twine makes a difference - seems to be quite key for Manning, but as he probably won't be here next season that gives us a problem to solve.
All in all an enjoyable away day. Enjoyed the chants of 'say hello to rovers '

Really strange one this, felt like overall are transfers havent been big misses like this in quite a while. Maybe with the exception of Kane Wilson. But from what we’ve seen of Mebude, which is very little tbf, he doesn’t offer anything of value over another player.
He pissed off down the tunnel after about 20 mins!

Watching mebude warm up...I don't think he reckons he's getting on the pitch today!

We did ok with a back 3/5 under Cotts. Needn't be a negative set up.
Of course we aren't going up or down, but it's far from meaningless. Need to put some performances together and show some of what we did on Friday.
Come on you reds (why are we playing in yellow and green? Against Plymouth?! A few of them have green training tops on too...madness!)
-
Of course it should read 'tickets sold' rather than 'attendance' !
Numbers up across the board. It's pretty impressive for second tier really.

Be very worried if I was a Leicester fan. Showing every sign of bottling it

Pre-planned subs after a 2 week break?

Playing well. As we always knew we might against a good team on sky.
Dickie incident should definitely have been a pen. Guy isn't even looking at the ball, just physically restraining our player
