Don't remember that. Do remember him getting appalling stick from the East End, reacting, having a shot, clearing the roof...getting abyse, etc.
Yes. 1994. Byrne header from a Beauchamp cross. https://youtu.be/-3PLKH49ZXc?si=PIsw1NsP_5BMruCE

Says it all about Phillips that we look better with Henderson on
BOOM
I actually think he did score for Oxford at Ashton Gate one year...late winner. Sticks in my head because my mate was giving him hell all match and after he bagged the goal he came up to us and gave some right back!

That blonde fella, played for Oxford and others. Just could not score. Got a dog's abuse at AG.

I cam bring you back down to earth with an Iain Muir.
Or that bloke who played for Walsall (name escapes me), his goal scoring bonus probably got him a new car every year he played against us.
David Kelly!
Recall when he signed for Wolves, playing up front with Bully....first game of the season we get Wolves away.....2 nil down in next to no time...Bull and Kelly!

Cornick has been our most effective player by far this half. Full of running, some decent touches and a long throw which created havoc and should've resulted in a penalty.

Whow! Are you winding up the Baggies fans? To call them Brummies is like any London team calling City as Welsh!
PS. What is unique about West Brom that they can claim to be the top of the league?
Highest ground above sea level?

We should do What Atalanta do and give a shirt to every newborn in the city. Bristol is a bit bigger than Bergamo though granted
Not hijacking the thread but had to acknowledge your new profile pic! Had me in almost as many stitches as the new collar!

Not sure I would describe the midfield as 'strong'. We will see.
I should clarify I meant in respect of the potential opposition. We should have too much for them...... But Lincoln.......

No excuses with that line up
Yes we've gone strong given the injuries. Couple of options on the bench. Nice to see Naismith

Him and David Hirst ripped us a new one that night - it was their promotion party IIRC. The Chief got ours in a 3-1 hammering.
RIP Trevor, you truly were class. A prond son of Plymouth too, there will be some heavy hearts down there tonight.
Yes they were going up and Hillsborough was rocking.
Chief scored a belter for us.
Funny that I can recall this match 32 years after the fact, but I really couldn't tell you what I had for lunch!

Not only Brentford who have shone.
Wigan, Blackpool, Luton, QPR, Huddersfield and Cardiff have all had spells in the Prem since 2002/03
Wigan won the FA Cup too!
