Not much else going on , so thinking forward to Monday.
I doubt Williams will play 3 in a row, TC looked lively coming on so I am thinking they could be 2 changes.
Bell looked ok too , but I have a feeling Manning will persevere with Mehmeti. I wonder if we might have a new name on the bench as well , would be good.

    Any name in mind :cool2:

Yeah, I understand the first part

But I am unsure how it is of use, and if it is what is it impacting?

Though I doubt many (if any) do this anyway

More footfall keeps the station open/viable.

Enough of our local stations have been closed over the years, although some now reopening (hopefully).

I sometimes use the train from Keynsham to TM and always get the ticket to Parson St.

Disappointing performance for me & a huge lost opportunity for a rare win at St Andrews. Just watched the Menehti headers back & two great chances that have to be taken.  We moved the ball too slow to which Vyner was constantly moaning about which is good to see.  Williams was superb and mom by a mile for me.  Thought TGH was poor as slowed it down & caught on the ball.  As others have said it’s a point gained but they were there for the taking & their fans would have made it toxic if we had scored.  Thought Bell looked good when he came on and played a brilliant ball across 6 yard box.

Im not sure how many of Blues team played at the Gate but what a contrast in the two games I’ve seen them in.  If we could nick one from them then I’d have Bacuna all day long as quick, strong and technically very good.

Exactly how I saw it, particularly your comments re Williams and TGH.

Two points dropped purely due to lack of overall quality on the night.

Mehmeti should have scored that first header, and it would have been a completely different game.

Clearly Birminghams plan was stay in it as long as possible then try and do something near the end, never really troubled us too much.

If you can’t win it, don’t lose it. On to Monday then 4 unbeaten.

Very true and there's been times in the past where we've ended up with nothing after "going for it" - Norwich springs to mind.

Maybe I'm overreacting in saying that its two points dropped and venting a bit, but that was so disappointing against what turned out to be a pretty crap team.

    On to Millwall.

    Taking a positive viewpoint.

If, before Christmas, someone had said that we'd come away from away games at a very in form Watford and fighting for their lives Birmingham, with a 4-1 win and a dull 0-0 we'd have taken that..

It's that the results were the "wrong" way around that makes it seem frustrating.

I understand that, but taking it a game at a time, that was a poor game from us.

No attempts on goal at all and just four attempts off target, including two soft headers from Mehmeti in the first half.

Shite game and grateful for the point given the performance.

  6. Very disappointing.

That crap at the end from Pring once again brainlessly hoofing it over the bar sums up where we are with the team/squad in terms of quality.

The only players who played with some guts were Williams and Dickie - it didn't always come off for them, but at least they were brave on the ball unlike most of their team mates.

Be interesting to hear what LM has to say.

Disagree with that. Has made about 4 of 10 attempted passes.

    Along with most others tbf.

TGH just doing little 5 yard passes side or back, playing too safe, at least Williams is trying to get us going. I'd give TGH 10 minutes and if no improvement get him off for James. Same for Mehmeti, 10 minutes, if no improvement get Bell on.

Just about every player is off his game other than Vyner, Dickie (despite some very dodgy runs forward), and Williams. The rest are anonymous really. Sykes has his man on toast if he goes for it, but hasn't so far. Mehmeti is back to his old self, Wells isolated. Bit of a deja vu performance from a little while ago.

Hopefully, they'll come out second half less passive and a bit more positive after 69% possession with a couple of headers from Mehmeti and no attempts on target. Been here before...

It really doesn’t take much to get them going does it

TBF, they've not had a lot to get them going, so a couple of wins is brilliant for them.

    Bless.

This century they've had 12 seasons in the third tier, 11 in the 4th tier, and 1 in the 5th tier.

In that time, their highest finish is 10th in the third tier.

Their average attendances have ranged from an abysmal 5,480 (a promotion year), to a remarkable 9,302 (the year they finished 10th and thought they were a shoe in for the Championship but ****** it up at the death).

    Nothing club really.

Didn’t follow him to Fleetwood, Darren Way joined LJ as assistant.

Bloke needs to work but having played for us, been a coach for several years & lived this way for a long time I reckon it will seem odd at first.

The Post are suggesting that he turned down the assistants job at Fleetwood.

Maybe had enough of following LJ around or maybe the thought of Fleetwood turned him off.

    Best of luck to him.

Maybe he can get his son back down to Bristol..

  10. This cretin is getting a bit carried away after downing a cheap bottle of plonk....

Having just drained a rather nice bottle of Pinot Gris, I believe that if we can procure the services of Mr Johnson Clarke -Harris ,next season we will be Bristols Premier football club .

Warning to our Red Friends south of the river.
