Against teams like Fleetwood and Rochdale, Sunderland (a genuinely well supported club you deluded Sags) are getting 29k attendances.

Pompey are getting 18k crowds, Bradford 16k. Coventry, Charlton and Barnsley are getting around 11k. Plymouth and Luton also have higher attendances that the Worlds most ‘loyal’ football fans from BS7.

So yeah, I can really see why the FA would be desperate to send referees to tent City as a training exercise in dealing with huge crowds.

Well, there are 8 clubs above them re attendances in the third tier and I can't see it improving..

Miah, this is a genuine post, not a dig or anything like that....I used to be welcome on your mob’s forum, when I joined I made it obvious why I was there...my dear old Dad was a Rovers fan, he used to play for you, never made the first team though....and my Grandad used to drive your supporters’ coaches around the country, and this was before there was an established motorway network....he drove your fans to that FA Cup tie at Newcastle in the 1950s and he told me it took about two days just to get there! And his dad, my Great Grandad was also a dyed in the wool Blue....so, I made all this apparent when I was on your forum and made it clear I was interested in a bit of debate and banter on the state of football in Bristol....it was all cool at first, I got involved in some balanced and reasonable debates, then some Neanderthal posted, “Can’t we just ban this shithead?” - and that was it...I was banned and blocked....I was never abusive, I never used inappropriate language, I never crossed the line....yet I was banned...along with all the other reds who were on there...what is your opinion on that? You are welcomed on here, yet your small minded fans will never give us the same courtesy....pathetic springs to mind...

Bottom line is that it isn't a forum.

Its an insular, backslapping, little members club with a minimal amount of regular posters who ensure anyone (red or blue) with views that they don't like get banned.

As a result, just like the club they support, its dying.

And you went straight back down the season after !

They had an average of 6,200 on promotion.

Then averaged around 5,800 in the division above - the second tier FFS.

Loyal and true, large fan base.............my arse.

Ok, very difficult to narrow down but I’m going

    1. Relegated from the entire league by a team wearing their kit

    2. Open top bus tour

    3. Santa’s grotto

    4. Brexit statement

    5. Row M of the new tent

    1. Relegated from the entire league by a team wearing their kit.  That was a day I will never forget, Radio Bristol phone in was comedy gold, and I was in the Essex in Kingswood that night....brilliant, just brilliant. Thick shites didn't realise we were taking the piss. Marvellous night that was.

    2. The UWE open day "stand" which showed in spades just how tinpot that insignificant little shite of a club are.

    3. The open top bus tour - what possessed them ? it was cringing and embarrassing - but they're used to that.

    4. The Al Qadi's. "6th richest club in England", "we're coming to get you", etc etc, carrying 'ol Wally on their shoulders up the Gloucester Road - now look at 'em.

    5. Santas Grotto sums them up but there are so many more gifts, too many to mention - the tents and the new "family stand", far too many.

They truly are the gift that keeps giving.

A totally unprofessional and tinpot outfit.

    Read 'em and weep Pikeys.

Maybe we have a tinpot stadium setup but we have a Premier league community trust. Absolutely class, something to be really proud of.

They have a premier league everything apart from those that matter don't they??

Do they really think that they are the only football club that has a community trust ?

Just about every club does similar things - including our own with ******* knobs on.

They really are in their own little bubble and up their own arses.

    Sad bastards.

Surely that tent side is going to restrict the view of the people middle/back of the terrace ?

    Least of their problems.

I think they're erecting it in the wrong place, surely it should have gone behind the terracing to add to the capacity. It lessens the capacity where it is at the moment.

Wouldn't put it past them to have cocked it up.

I have never been to the Rovers' ground but I want to go there this season because I have to see this construction site for real.

Does anyone know if they are POTD?

    Never been there either.

Got no inclination to change that tbh, looks a bit depressing to me.

Is that supposed to increase the capacity or improve the match day experience? Cos by the look of it it won't do either?

Absolutely pathetic! Keep 'em coming losers...?

Looks to me that they've reduced the capacity by 50% in that  area by installing a little bus stop.

I suppose there is some sort of logic to it ?

    Probably not.

    Why no announcement..?

According to the Post the rumours aren't substantiated.

They've contacted the club and even contacted James Dyson as supporters have been saying he's involved - he has flatly denied it.

Wael has said he is committed to the club but can't speak for his family which says a lot.
