  1. 21k attendance at MK. These days, England are always a good watch. Really enjoyed the Womens Euros. Technically, they're very good and very entertaining. Look forward to seeing them at AG.
  2. Bless. Apparently, having more away fans would give them a higher average attendance. I don't think they get it, do they https://gaschat.co.uk/thread/20749/potential-attendance
  3. Wigan more than deserved a point, looked very much like they wanted it more. City very passive, Wells and Bell barely touched the ball, not in the game and wandered around, same for Weimann who was woeful. At least Cornick ran around a bit and Sykes got stuck into the game when he came on. They should start on saturday. Scott just about average, didn't do enough and rightly subbed, but James and Williams very good. Defenders all good. Mehmeti good assist and hit post with a cross. Reminds me of Eliasson.. Vey disappointing and lacklustre performance, but 10 games undefeated. Back to 16th.
  4. City fully deserved that, very passive so far. Wigan the better side.
  5. They should supply tin pots instead.

    23-24 season

Possibly not. But they have great support who are not up themselves ala Leeds.

    23-24 season

EPL Relegation; Everton - about time Leeds - arrogant supporters Bournemouth - cheats L1 Promotion; Sheffield Wed. - good supporters Wycombe - would piss off Rovers Bolton - done their time Derby need to stay where they are for a while, same for Ipswich (MA needs to fail and get the boot).
  8. I see that Reading, with all their Chelsea loanees/connections, are currently 0-1 against Rotherham and in 18th position...
  9. So, Ipswich are keeping the Pikeys at bay, going for a smash and grab.
  10. I think I'm right in saying that they've scored the most from corners in the division. We defended the set pieces against Norwich very well, so more of the same needed.
  11. Yep. One of those where if we score first, we could get one or two more. But if they score first and shut up shop...
  12. From the games/players I've seen; Raph Araoye & Jamie knight-Lebel - both quite young but both quite cultured CBs, I would expect them to push on next season (saw Araoye in the Bournemouth friendly pre-season and, although only 17, didnt look out of place at all). Omar Taylor-Clarke - as Fevs says, a Korey type player who looks almost ready for the first team (or a first team on loan). They would be my picks, but there are a few others worth keeping an eye on as per above. Also, loaned out players like Kadji at Swindon who looks good, but I get the impression he needs a gee up now and then. I like Joe Low at Walsall as well, Baker type player, not sure if he will come back or go the way of Towler, who I also liked. Quite a few coming through and Tinnion has said the younger age groups have some exciting kids.
  13. Got more points away than at home, but their last away win was back on October 1st. They've got the worst defence in the division (49 conceded) and in the bottom three for goals scored (28) As you'd expect, they are in the bottom three in the form table. Last 6 away games, they've drawn 4, lost 2, scored 5 and conceded 10. What could possibly go wrong ?
  14. Revisited Old India on Saturday night with my Mrs. and won't be going back. Chaos. Waste of time booking as they let people in booking or not so had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. Parties of 4 going in with no booking in front of us. Food was ok, but had a half bottle of wine left and already paid the bill when they asked if we'd mind leaving as they had people waiting for a table. I said we'll finish the wine thanks, he said they have outside tables or we can take the drinks downstairs. Bloody cheek. Anyway we'd had enough of the noise, so we took our glasses downstairs - only to be told that it is an independent bar totally separate to the restaurant upstairs. But the fella let us finish our drinks at a table, saying he's told them not to do this before. We won't be returning and they'll get a negative review from us on trip advisor. Food is ok, nothing more, but it is chaotic with dreadful service.
  15. Upon reading that, I am most humbly sorry for indicating that pork can't be educated. I'll retract it and say that mysogynists and the mean spirited cannot be educated beyond a basic level.
  16. Very good defender and on verge of international honours before his knees gave way. Shame for him.
  17. You could be on to something there, or maybe just ignorance ?
  18. Won't we fly from Bristol ? Via SL Airways (or whatever its called).
  19. How sad is that ? Or pathetic ? Probably weird is the best description.
