I was hoping to get on that this year but alas not going to be near there. Maybe next year.
I'm going there in August as it's my wife's family home town, I didn't know this was there, will definitely have to take a ride on this wonderful looking piece of engineering

How did I forget this gem. Great baseline.
And this...another great baseline.
I'd forgotten about this Simple Minds track, they did a few instrumentals around this time that were absolutely stunning pieces of work, right better get these albums back on the turntable!

And? Germany has literally thousands of Turkish immigrants - just as Britain have.
I used to live in the Turkish area of Bremen for a while, lots of them were Muslims, but it was a very friendly area to us Englanders, and bloody delicious food!

You need to move back home immediately. Greatest biscuits ever.
Agreed, I'll have to see if they're sold on Amazon before I come over in the Summer, and bring an empty suitcase

I notice that we've got 5 matches in March but only 1 at home.
I'm not including a possible home quarter final against Man Utd!
No, we'll get them in the Final and exact revenge for the 1909 loss!

A month ago I put 100 bucks down at +3000, so basically 30/1to finish in the top 6, also put down 100 bucks on us to win the FA Cup at +45000, I just want us to avenge our 1909 defeat against Man U

My first ever City game,10 years old my big brother Steve who sadly passed recently bought me a ticket, met him at Castle Park, had my first can of beer, Youngers Tartan, I was just to the left of the East End goal as you look from pitchside, bitter disappointment but the buzz stayed with me and started attending regularly home and away the following season, including train travel, all paid for by my brother, miss him and miss those exciting days

...I'm craving a traditional French Baguette.
A proper one...made the traditional French Way. With no preservatives. That crunch, smell, soft fluffy inner....that you know will be as hard as a baseball bat by dinner. Has to be eaten fresh and on the day.
I can't find any bakers that do this around Brizzle.
Does anyone know of a bakers that does?
Well as the name suggests, the tradition must be made using the traditional methods, while a baguette can include extra ingredients.
A tradition must be made using only flour, yeast, salt and water – the recipe specified in the French government's 'bread decree' of 1993.
On a side note...bread baking can be so time consuming. I've stumbled on this recipe that is quick and makes incredible bread. Really tasty. Good rise, good crust, fluffy and light in middle. Can highly recommend. I make one every week and it's so easy.
I make my own baguettes every weekend that I'm home, simple recipe 1000g if bread flour, 10g fast rising yeast, 15g salt, 600ml warm water, mix together, knead by hand for 8- 10 minutes, cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours, knock down, shape into baguettes, cover and let rise for further 45 minutes, bake for 30 minutes at 385f, throw some ice cubes in the bottom of the oven when you put the bread in, gives it a good rise and crispy crust

Does anybody wear a wrist watch anymore,I never have but remember my dad and the men growing up always did
My Dad always had a pocket watch in his waistcoat, he wasn't posh or anything, he was a builder, different days back in the 60s and 70s I guess

My Grandad was born in 1899 and supported City all his life, one of his ambitions was to watch Bristol City win a Wembley cup final, had to wait until The Freight Rover in 1986, but man he was so happy!

Bristol is a principality in Canada - near to Quebec I think.
It’s a high tempo song with interesting lyrics tho - sort of song that could be playing in the dressing room when players are warming up.
Yep, I know, and it's roughly halfway between Vancouver where the Dreadnoughts come from and Our Bristol, watch the video, it's Our Bristol they sing about, along with the reverence of Cider, they also appeared at Ciderfest last Summer, they love our West Country
