I missed that generation at the towns talk, but I do recall they started doing rave nights on a Thursday for a year or so about 92, think a gentleman from withywood ran those

No, red tbh with you I only went there back in the day for a designated pint on the way home from away games, was there or the blarney stone in st werburghs also sadly gone, oh and I may have gone there once or twice when there was a marawana drought in, South Bristol in the 90s!

Yes, the downstairs bar had some sound locals, I would personally describe upstairs as a marawana supermarket with pool tables!
-
If you went down the back staircase in the Carlton club, there was that little bar on the other side, what a dive that was

I was down Torquay last year and police were doing that above, going around the pubs of Brixham Paignton and Torquay with a dog at weekends and they arrested double figures, if they did that here, imagine the manpower, and the cells would be full by 6pm, too much work for them, I reckon

Junior was lucky to get one game, the way smith and Gavin played that season
-
Thats the fastest I ever saw the park empty when the let the dogs loose after a Millwall game
-
Where they kept the sniffer dogs at the bottom of rownham hill the building ended up being used as a growhouse when it was empty!

One of my favourite memories involving a radio, huddling around a radio in the car park at Victoria park Hartlepool in the fa cup, I remember it because the game was Sutton Vs Coventry on the radio

You should live or die by your signings, smith and Heywood never saw two players so out of their depth, partridge was so bad couldn't get in leyhills team, and bridges got injured walking his dog, total embarrassment
