  6. Also our midfield is looking a very diffrent machine. If nige and curtis can do that to our defence, we will be on course for niges time plan. Fingers crossed,
  7. The build up play to some of our goals has been first class. Hard work is paying off there. Yep, also been impressed with the effort and tackles in the last few games. If we can stop giving away some silly goals, we wont be far away.

  12. Cant make out if the red seats were in the middle of the dolman? Early 80s id go I think they built do it all, as it was known about 1984? Used to go to discos in the scout hut at the start of the car park. Was next to r and c markets, which had a red sign, which i cant see. Maybe late 70s.
  13. Be nice to win a game, without looking over our shoulder, in the last 5 minutes. A corner turning thumping of somebody is due. Hopefully our welsh friends.

  16. I would have let him go when he flirted with notts forest openly a few years ago. If thats not taking the p i dont know what isnt. On the plus side, our link up play in homes games is getting more intelligent by the week. Going forward now, we look a diffrent team at times. The move for the 2nd was a joy to watch.
  17. Ten points off the top six. 14 off the top 3. I sense a joyless spring. He was babbling on they had turned the corner and got rid of the wasters. Then they get beat by oldham. Cut right out for that job. never make a fortune teller.
  18. Car booting the magazines, that could wok cyril. Niche market, but somebody will take a punt. Theres two ways of buying them. The people who buy them openly, or the ones who slip them in a newspaper at the counter. Maybe put some copies of the peoples friend or readers digest magazine next to them. The discreet buyers, could work with that.
  19. From sticker books, to sticker books. Wonder if theres somebody with a job title buys the stuff for the nhs?
  20. I can recall my friend giving a sample, in about 2001. He said the books on offer, to speed up the job were from the 70s. Dread to think how many fingers they went through. Anyway, that sperm bank shut down, I asked him why, he said most men do their banking online these days...
  21. I needed two players to complete the mexico 86 book. One of them was the spurs player gary stevens, not the everton one. Im sure the other one was a canadian goalie.
  22. Well said above. A programme, is worth its weight in gold, for memories.
  23. Blimey agree to drop aims. Thats about right for that spinless mob at the fa. Be amazed if they gave us the euros tbh. Unless some sort of backsliding has gone on. Why should we drop our bid? Wouldnt trust that mob,
