Pretty sure that picture is Clifton Bridge station, Ashton Gate Halt was a far more basic affair.

Some old music live tonight with Fairport Convention at Bath Forum. Not cutting edge or ground breaking, just a great evenings entertainment with some superb musicians. 

Just need to advertise for a few retired tradesmen looking to earn a few bob......oh sorry someone else has already done that!!

Saw Melanie at the 1970 Isle of Wight festival, very underrated singer/songwriter. RIP.

Of far greater significance was the 2-1 win against Liverpool in May '77 which set us up for the epic at Coventry 3 days later.

Certainly was, I remember the police helicopter hovering overhead while we were waiting to be let out of the ground. 

Just watching Shane's funeral on Sky news, Nick Cave's heart rending version of Rainy Night in Soho and various surviving Pogues and Dubliners turning the service into a party with a glorious uncensored Fairy Tale of New York really did bring a tear to the eye.

One that went under the radar last week was the death of Killing Joke guitarist Geordie Walker.
