  1. It tells me he didnt want pearson around because pearson knew they were full of shit, and lansdown didnt want him spending more money on his own players.
  2. Do you not want the under 18s to win the youth cup? Id quite like to see that personally.
  3. Certainly, all of these were reasons why he wasnt going to be moved upstairs to allow manning to come in underneath him.
  4. Brian is the latest fall guy, theres been 20 odd years of crap decisions and appointments before tinnion got that role, and there will be a lot more shoddy decisions still to come if he loses that role. Hes being blamed for wanting to be better next season, and blamed for wanting the youth team to win the youth cup in this thread! I think it his fault twine got injured, and for scott being sold and lansdown not releasing some of the funds for the striker we all knew we needed too.
  5. I agree, but pearson calling out the lansdowns in public over his contract made his own position untenable, and he clearly would have known that. and im not sure he would consider a move upstairs at that point to be something he would want to bother with, especially if fleming and euell were to be moved on as well. Tell me where on here people were demanding he went on the radio tonight? Moron
  6. We didnt even know he was going on until 2 hours before, no one was clamouring for it, no one else has said he needed to go on, and if he didnt go on no one would have said anything either way!
  7. No one said pring was underperforming after the west ham games, i think the work load has gradually caught up with him, and lads like vyner, dickie and knight too have put a lot into this season.
  8. Its clear that no matter what he said, the knives would be out on here. Any answer he gave to the 10 point question, he would have had shite thrown at him. Someone said he isnt a legend of the club, but scott murray is, how do you quantify that? Up until last October tinnion would certainly have qualified as a legend. Apart from potentially having to actually give nige the news, the decision to replace, or keep nige was not in his hands.
  9. It seems very likely that bajic will be gone, and after witnessing that lincoln game last year, i dont think the english game really suits him.
  10. It was clearly mentioned that the big number 9 was likely to come from abroad though, presumably scotland is abroad if miovski might be a target?!
  11. Helps with Dave’s spreadsheets though!
  12. Agreed, hoskin couldnt really have pushed it much further, but respected tinnion as a senior representative of the club, and got into the interview with the questions that people have mentioned on here. Well done to him.
  13. Yes,, after getting decent game time last year he’s disappeared completely.
  14. Agreed, I wouldn’t be busting to spend millions on twine at this point,,, shame, he was obviously the one the manning wanted, and lots of us did too, who knows how we might look now if he had been fit for the last month or 2!
  15. Weve had some shite down the years havent we!
  16. Clearly a talented lad, i would say hes closer to twine in style than knight is, perhaps moving him further forward would suit him more. Like others have said though, no one is exactly prospering at this point
  17. Thank god for dickie this season
  18. I like tgh, and hes young,, perhaps hes better suited to playing further forward with knight in a conventional midfield role, tgh is certainly technical enough to pick a pass.
  19. Haha, you are joking, would you quit a 200000 a year job to do that?
  20. Pearson went because lansdown wanted him gone, you don’t seriously believe tinnion could make that decision do you?
  21. The academy now has been at a level of organisation and performance that its not been that in probably for ever, to say that it hasn’t improved under the guidance of tinnion, regardless of what you might think of him now, is disingenuous
  22. Apart from his role at the academy, which has been hugely productive. And hundreds of games for the club.
  23. Yes, i agree, really enthused and knowledgeable, and clearly has had some success in that role.
  24. Is there likely to be an upfront loan fee for him
