Wise words from the Blue Few. In fairness I've been caught with this "moody gear" once or twice -

Once (in a cheapy type store) I bought some Farenheit looking aftershave, only to look more closely when I got home to realise it was actually called "Fireandheat"! I've also eaten Ken's Fried Chicken, and bought Odidas trainers (silly me)...

But perhaps my most embarrassing faux pas was a couple of years ago at The Memorial Stadium, where I picked up a piece of Bristol Blue inscribed with "Doncaster United" instead of "Doncaster Rovers"! I really should know better by now...! ?

I've got a Tommy Hilfinger shirt

I don't think he's too bad an appointment, did a decent job at Fleetwood and worth another chance by someone somewhere, looking at their fixtures they may well just slip through the door but won't be his fault, need to let him get on with a project of rebuilding them.

Why wouldn't it be his fault? He would of had 18 games to save them and they were well above the relegation places before he arrived and there are some mightily shite clubs in that division

If they make it to the Championship, I think that is a bigger achievement than Leicester title win. That's been years and years of good management, good decisions being made on and off the pitch by Accrington Stanley, let alone the fact they truly are a Community football club, some real Roy of the Rovers stuff really

Would love to see them go up as that would be one relegation spot sewn up next season (should we still be in this division)

    That made them look good

Its been 44 seasons in a row under 10k

It was way back in 1976 when they last got over 10k  (10,022)

That wasnt a bad year for us if i remember correct

And they only averaged 10,000 that year because we had about 12,000 there for the 0-0 draw

No, pretty sure he was a free.  Just noticed the load of City in the south enclosure, I was with loads in the north (Harold) enclosure !

I was also in the North enclosure, 11 years old and my first visit to Eastville other than for the fireworks and market

  6. Not that I would ever go to a zoo but this is yet another thing that is great for the people of South Glos, South Wales but unfortunately not South Bristol, this Mayor should remember that the voters in South Bristol have stuck with Labour forever and a day even during the dark days of Thatcherism when it was the only non-London English constituency South of Birmingham

He did well , really at Exeter on their budget without getting them over the line. Failed miserably at MK Dons though. Don’t know the reasons behind that. Winkelman normally gives manager a decent amount of time usually.

Not sure what he really achieved at Exeter, didn't he take them out of the league? He lacked ambition when offered jobs elsewhere and was a total disaster at MK

How the hell do they get away with it virtually every single sodding week!!!?

On the plus side, with the amount of penalties and red cards in their favour, given their league position it really shows how shit they are!!

Haven't won a single point since Xmas without the benefit of a penalty or sending off

Well, looks like they've made some descent signings....

How do you know they're decent, have you seen any of these new players play before? We get all this excitement every summer from their fans and the Evil post, if any of them werethat good they wouldn't be pitching up in North Bristol.
