    Hi

Am aware there are some regular posters who live in France. Can i get some help please?

Going on holiday in a few weeks and hiring a car. Want to know if my 4 1/2 year old can just have a backless booster seat or if she needs to have a proper car seat.

    Thanks in advance.

Oops sorry thought I'd put this in the general section. Obviously this is nothing to do with transfers ?

Get a Toyota Hilux and put the kids in the back tray. Seriously whatever you can do to keep your kids safe is the priority. Have a great holiday mate and keep safe.

We're hardly likely to play pre-season games against Championship sides and the days of friendlies against big Premier League teams are gone. They're too busy flying around the world to make yet more money as ideal preparation for the new season.

So true look at the Hammers and Spurs currently playing down under here in OZ.

So the new season is less than 3 weeks away. So for a bit of fun let’s have your predictions on next seasons champions playoffs and relegations.

    Premier league Champions-Man City.
    Relegated- Luton, Sheffield United,Crystal Palace.

    Championship champions- Leicester.
    Runners up- Southampton.
    Playoff winners-Sunderland.
    Bristol City 9th.
Relegated - Rotherham, West Brom, Preston

    League 1-Champions Portsmouth.
    Runners up- Reading.
    Playoffs - Port Vale.
    Bristol Rovers 16th.
    Relegated-Shrewsbury,Cheltenham,Stevenage,Fleetwood

    League 2 Champions- Mk Dons.
    Runners up-Wrexham
    Third- Gillingham.
    Playoffs- Bradford.
    Relegated- Swindon and Crawley

I'm only looking at the championship promotion race.

In the mix and in no uncertain order could be,

    • Bristol City.
    • Leicester.
    • Leeds.
    • Norwich.
    • Sunderland.
    • Hull.
    • Stoke.

Did you put it in massive font to try to reach 100 pages?

My question is if the lad does stay for one more season with us does everyone think this will give us automatic promotion. Or if he leaves for greater prospects does this mean we can only hope for a playoff spot.

whatever the money is floating around is irrelevant as NP and team would have done their sums.

I hope he stays but what a prospect he has become for any future club lucky enough grab him.

I wish him all the luck whatever he does, and I hope he and his family are involved in his future prospects,

His daughter and son-in-law both - their 'PR/Business Improvement' company, Maytrix, is questionable as well, repeated delays in submitting accounts and threatened with enforced closure on more than one occasion.

That is totally shocking if true. Captain Tom became a hero during covid not only in the UK but across the world.

Does it say what the OAP age is, as a lot of clubs are 60 now.

Good point on the age. So, when I'm back for a while can I get OAP rates at BS3 as I've just turned that magic age.

    Hand in a transfer request?

I would not be surprised if he stays another season with us unless the offer is well over 25 mill plus extras. The lad will be guaranteed a place every match with us next season if he is fit. I can only see him missing a first team spot when he is called up for international duty.

Then if we get promoted, he most probably will stay for an additional season and his value will then be 30mill plus. Then the timing maybe correct not just career wise but also personal for him.

Wow what a great prospect he is and has become.

I wish him all the best on what he ever decides to do. Probably one of the best players that will go down in BCFC history and a future England legend.

Do you watch Perth Glory at all?

Hi JB, not that much. watching Perth Glory is a bit like a UK league one team playing mediocre football. Last time I watched them was two seasons ago.

Around 15 years ago they were a lot better, and I remember seeing the Glory up against Wolves in a friendly in the English off season. It was a pre-season when Wolves were visiting between their promotion up to the Prem and from memory Wolves won 2-1.

The football in OZ at the highest level is par to good clubs in the UK league one.

    No,

Looking at his market value he was worth an estimated 1.5 million euro in January 20, the value then went up in July 21 to approximately 6 million euro and now it has dropped to around 4.0 million euro. He is still a young talent and most probably a bargain at the right price.

  10. FIFA Womans world cup, EPL exhibition games are coming in Perth. With the EPL we have the Hammers taking on Spurs and Perth Glory playing the hammers at Optus Stadium.

Early August with Denmark woman making Perth home playing China Canada and Ireland.  Also, a mix of other teams with Panama against Jamaica and Morocco up against Colombia.

It will be a great show case of the number one sport in the world being football even if the ozzies still think cricket and AFL are bigger in what they still call football (soccer)

Even ANGE Postecoglou is hosting a big breaky at the Crown Perth Casino and it has got so popular that they have now got the breaky at the Grand Ball Room in the casino. It is $150.00 dollars per person about 75 quid. Thats a lot of money for bacon and eggs.

With the FIFA world cup Sam Kerr will be one of the stars for Australian Matildas and the world cup.

I hope to get to see the Hammers and Spurs and maybe one of the Ozzie womans world cup games.

Any way it's about time we had some real football to watch in Perth for a change.

    • Replays - Well how would that work. If there was a draw what do the teams do pick short straws.
    • Early rounds mid-week -If early Rounds were played mid-week the season would blow out and we will be watching football and cricket at the same time.
    • stand-alone weekend - So players that pay in the Prem might have two play two games one day after the other.
    • Same point as the above one.
    • TV rights- yes agree.
    • Payment from Prem clubs - Why?

Indeed - although Headingly could be perfect today for our bowlers - cloud cover for most of the day & a rather green pitch.

    A big toss to win..

Nearly all in OZ at the moment are expecting the pomms to win this one. Come on you pommssssssssss

For balance I disagree. 100% misplaced arrogance. Didn’t he think he was going to be Pep’s number two or something?

He has also a bit of a temper or immaturity. I remember about 3 to 4 seasons ago when I was back home, and I was in the Lansdown stand. As they came off at half time the Blackburn coaching staff kicked a ball at LJ in front of the tunnel. LJ immediately reacted with his fists up and chest out, he looked an embarrassment.

He comes across as quite level headed and wants to be challenging for the play offs, he can do that at Millwall currently, we still aren't strong enough for that without luck,

Also if rumours are true, we only offered him a year, he probably wants a bit more security

'We are not strong enough without luck.' ?? If we do not make the play offs next season I will fly over and run naked around Ashton gate. With my cider belly it will not be a good site and hope any watching has a defibrator on hand,

A year's promise would be the best he could probably negotiate. I have a good feeling about next season even if you don't.
