Just seen the goal on sky and can’t believe how many empty seats in the south stand
No public transport apart from the park & rides have made a dent.

So, totally normal season for us.

Wells contract is up soon, I wouldn't be surprised to see him and Martin leave,
If we weren't in so much red I'd've bought Martin out a year ago. Notable groan in the Lansdown when he came on today.

Yet again we're in the spot where we had an extended mid-season layoff and in that time learned very little about ourselves, on the pitch and in the dugout. LJ went through that and paid for it. Nigel is starting to worry me.

Hello, I can confirm there will be an enhanced service for both Portway and Brislington P&Ride sites on Boxing day fixture against WBA, however AG3 will not operate,
Brutal. Boxing day cabs gonna rinse everyone from Temple Meads / the centre. Like me.

Any chance of a pitch inspection tomorrow? A few northern games have been scratched off already.

Does that include the AG buses?

We had Everton at home in 1999.
I only remember Everton at home in the league cup that went 2-2 and we lost the shootout.

How on earth can you still not spell his name?
I'm saving that typo for a Valentine's day card.

I'd certainly have taken Rotherham away this week over 12:30pm on a Saturday, stupid 6:45am bus.

When does the Hummel deal run until? This is surely a manufacturer issue, as nobody in their right mind is thick enough to think that nobody wants to buy shirts half way through a season from the clubs perspective.....
It's almost like the staff who knew what they were doing were considered an unecessary overhead by certain former financial staffers....

If only we could do the kit in house to ensure we were restricted to another companies clearly poor distribution / creation issues...
We used to, but the kits were rubbish.
@JerrySLO can this be raised again please? the kits that *are* selling well aren't being restocked at all.

Paradoxically when our games beamed are world wide, due to rights issues, they’re not available on RTV
As far as I know it was never scheduled for a Saturday, so I'd've thought it would be available for domestic screening.

They have obviously been watching us...
On paper we should get battered, but as we all know football is played on grass not paper so therefore we definitely will get battered.
What if we play the game in Fishminster?

the Premier League will create a new 'infrastructure fund' to provide extra cash to clubs in League One and League Two to improve their facilities.
with the catch that said clubs would give the PL preferable treatment in selling youth players, no doubt.

Naah, the paintjob is too new.

Luxury goalhanger, when the ball's further than 2" from his feet he's a deer in the headlights.

I think that was more of a cashflow and timing thing but surely when new owners came and cleared a load of debt, we would have been sorted along with everyone else. They narrowly avoided admin, indeed some of their fans say that they were close to bankruptcy itself in summer 2018.
It never got confirmed by anyone involved, then got memory-holed when they went spend-crazy again.

Dare we dream of Aston Villa coming back down and having to answer some very difficult q's about their actions and methods of achieving compliance in the 3 year period to 2019??
I'm sure the EFL and all of the others in the League that year, including several who have been punished in recent times will not have forgotten. Strategic ambiguity by the EFL? Not as if they ever publicly declared them passing it. Mind you they don't as a rule.
Nor did they come out and declare that the two sides had unlike Leicester, QPR and Bournemouth reached a settlement, albeit this was under the old system.
I did read that the EFL were furious that they managed to get up and escape scrutiny on their terms. Think Martin Samuel suggested it in an article or 2 in 2020. He also implied that some clubs would have revenge in mind.
Wouldn't be surprised if the EFL would habe been furious as the method of payment, I had a major issue with. Loans Receivable for the ground, ' Blah blah' 'Offsetting? Rah Rah'!
Well, iirc Receivables need paying within 12 months max, don't recall that this ever was and certainly not within 12 months. Pretty sure it's a current asset.
I would also question the commercial viability of a 5 year lease only at iirc £2.6-2.8m per season. The ratio is fine but just 5 years on a £56.7m transaction is dodgy! Certainly in a P&S context.
Lastly, Other Operating Income. Not suggesting that the HS2 compensation revenue was illegitimate but a) Without proper clarity, something in this category appeared 3 years on the bounce and b) Was it categorised correctly?
Did they ever pay us for Kodjia? or was the "you got Baker on a discount to settle it" excuse used?

photo's from west brom, quite a lot,we might not visit again in a long time

Is Jay DaSilva worth a new contract?

As stated by others Pring is an upgrade on almost everything Jay does, so it's a no.
