  1. Something and nothing, it’s what can often happen when you don’t respect your surroundings and celebrate a goal in the  home end. Not condoning it but the Golden rule is sit on your hands and keep head down.

But Cardiff probably don’t have many English based fans. City do have a collective of fans along the border up past Chepstow etc.   We’ve always had a decent amount just to the right of the bridge on that side of the river.

They probably do it as much to get a reaction and get people talking about it!

There is a  large City following just over the Bridge in Monmouthshire and the Peoples Republic of the Forest of Dean and further south into Wales. It’s been around for decades and we are very very passionate about City. Caldicot , Chepstow , Undy, Newputt, Usk. We are everywhere in the borders flying the red flag high. We have been known to have our moments with our Welsh friends over the years locally as well?

1995. Matt Jackson after we dominated the entire game, they went on to win the cup.

Then in 1999 we lost 2-0 to them, Ibrahima JohnandYoko scoring twice late on

I was present at both games in Dolman B block. Sure the first game was Jackson scored a free kick in front of East end that housed over 5k Everton. They came onto the pitch. Also pretty certain that was the game were it kicked off big time on Ashton road with 50 of theirs. Andy Nichols mentioned it in his book . We were in Rising Sun at the time.

    they won’t come down.

    Ooh yum! Sounds lush

That are just that. Funnily enough I spent a week in Royal Gwent cardiac ward 5 years ago and had faggots and peas as my first meal, absolutely gorgeous . I love them but everyone else in my household detests them. Give me lambs liver and black pudding also??

Football violence is defiantly on the increase this season and we've also noticed a new mob of nutters that regularly cause trouble at away games. Just when we hand lwft the dark ages behind!

Pezo nailed it with the list of possible reasons for this upsurge in incidents plus Cocaine is more widely available now as it’s ever been, young uns have more money nowadays to throw at football and the casual scene . It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better in my opinion .

It does seem to be on the rise, and incidents in the ground seem to be more common, even something as daft as running on the pitch to kick the ball off the penalty spot. It does seem to be linked to ‘marching powder’, it’s something I’ve never tried so must admit not sure what high it gives you, if it makes you more aggressive?

It’s a mugs game, the amount of CCTV in and around grounds, police wearing body cam you’ll simply not get away with it now.

Was meant to be going out in Leeds on Sunday afternoon, but we’ve now changed it as Leeds play Man Utd on that day.

There is a video on YouTube called Football Violence Cocaine and   kids , shot last weekend in Nottingham, worth a watch to see what’s happening across this country.

  7. Sadly This behaviour is not just confined to Bristol City. It’s massively on the rise nationally , huge increases in arrests and anti social behaviour at football across the UK including drugs , pyrotechnics etc.

I can see the return of restrictions again for games at Cardiff and Swansea coming in the near future. Reduced ticket allocation, RV points.

I was present yesterday and went by car so didn’t witness anything until after the game when coming out Swansea fans were allowed to goad us whilst filming and waiting for a reaction. Once on the dual carriageway heading back to park and ride it was going off on a side street by a pizzeria. Plenty of police running to intervene .

Would you have said this at the start of the season ?

    Just asking.

Most definitely. I have always said that there is a great talent in Semenyo but it’s taken longer to break though than anticipated. Weimann does what it says on the tin. Hardworking and scores goals.
