What “the cult of Nige”, actually means is anyone who hasn’t enjoyed Manning’s football and didn’t appreciate the way NP was sacked, which isn’t exactly controversial. It doesn’t take us forward when people use your platform to continue getting these remarks in and is used to shut down conversations Your podcast is better than that in my opinion.

Even when a thread starts off in a positive vein it always goes the same way, certain people popping up and repeating the same thing in one thread after another “ there will still be people moaning” or other variations on a theme. I care how he does, as I do for most, if not all of our ex players. Given our recent history, I wouldn’t pin any hopes of any funds coming to the club through him, being spent on future players though.

Yes and I said virtually no one. I don’t imagine you’d ever get 100% satisfaction from fans and I doubt you’d find a club where that’s the case either. My point is more about, why bring it up at all as a possibility, rather than focusing on the win, people use it to be divisive and score points. It’s not as though the comment followed a negative one similar to what you’ve described.
