  1. It’s better than we’ve had before. If RH knows we thought the questioning was better it will give him the confidence to continue. I doubt GT was the same when he began as when he finished .
  2. Not questioning whether people are working hard we want to know why it’s not working. Of course we know they want success that’s not in question.
  3. He asked where’s plan B…. Glided over that or didn’t understand it.
  4. Questions not bad tbf.
  5. “He has the first say ….. after we’veproffered recommendations”.
  6. Oh the coach is learning
  7. Yeah they are very very alike. I can’t always tell. Matt W and Lee Paul on too.
  8. Sounds like Richard Hoskins hosting then.
  9. Very. Especially after the game yesterday. Thought he continually brought the presenter(can’t remember his name not keen though) back to the question of what we were promised from the Club and what we’re actually seeing. Thought he was great yesterday. Saw the game exactly like most fans did and wasn’t accepting any old flannel from the presenter.
  10. Having read many of the posts that pick individual players out for comment, there seems to be a common thread running through all of them. ie. People suggesting that many are not being played in their favoured positions. I think pretty much every player particularly the midfield and wings are not necessarily being played to their strengths. I doubt that will change unless the system changes.
  11. There seems to be a few players guilty of that as part and parcel of this footballing style. Mehmeti far too many touches, even Dickie at times, but as said before I think we saw talent in TGH on arrival and some of the things he’s doing now he wasn’t doing originally. Unfortunately it feels as though there’s a good few players who aren’t performing as they used to.
  12. Agree. You don’t suddenly lose talent. He started well and was talked about on here in a positive way, so he definitely had something. I think along with several others it’s just not clicking for him at present, but that’s a common theme at present.
  13. Not me either . He’s the most passionate player by far in every game. Clearly cares about winning and reacts more to situations on the pitch than other players. If it’s emotionless players LM wants I can’t see JW staying, but I’d have emotion any day. I’d love to see him stay.
  14. Vitriol’s a bit strong. Comments are hardly malicious or hateful. They’re born out of fans paying a lot of money only to be frustrated week after week. We all show emotions in various ways and don’t always behave in ways acceptable to all. I don’t find booing helps me and I am sure it doesn’t help the players, but you have to ask why has it come to this.
  15. I never boo. I hate it, but, you don’t really know what fans were doing prior to booing do you. I’m sure most were supporting fans, as they do every time they go to Ashton Gate. It’s difficult to know how else fans can express their annoyance, anger, etc. at the time? Just as Joe showed his frustration some fans did too.
  16. I know you’re probably joking, but I did worry a bit that the steward needed to be a bit careful (especially nowadays) in the way he was handling the one boy. The kid was trying to run and the steward needed to use quite a bit of force to keep holding his arm. The boy was twisting his arm, so the steward held on even tighter. What I don’t get is they seemed to run from the lower South Stand and if they were with parents I don’t understand why it took so long for the one boy to be reunited with a parent, seeing as they were so close to where they got on the pitch . So makes me wonder what adult was with them.
  17. Yes this is what I like about him, his not being afraid to take the ball forward and get people moving up. As you say gives us something other than the wings, occasionally gets in a bit of trouble, but usually sorts it out by himself.
  18. Yeah I agree not fully fit, but there was more than that today in my opinion. Swinging his arms about and just not looking happy.
  19. Or backwards too now
  20. I have to say he did look angry and raised his arms up but I don’t blame him. Just imagine it from his point of view . Would you be happy playing that sort of football and then get fans booing at you to boot? I’d actually rather see that than no reaction. After the goal
  21. I may be mistaken but I thought he showed promise in the first games he played for us? There was certainly a lot of comment about him here and I’m sure he’s dipped a lot lately. Even he’s started doing the back passing now, that frustrated fans so much. It just feels at the moment that there’s no one who you think, ah well at least we’ve got so and so who’ll come on and make a difference and I for one felt that about him in the beginning.
  22. Yes and the most telling thing is booing during the game, that speaks volumes. It says a lot that even when you score, you don’t feel like you’re winning.
  23. Yeah Pring’s body language today was sad to see. He looked completely tired out and fed up. There’s no passion, no ideas, no spontaneity. We know they have more to offer than that, so it must be frustrating for the players too.
  24. I think it said it all when I actually forgot that we were winning. Yes better second half, but the problem is better, is still really poor. I think we saw JW suddenly wake up in the second half and that passion of his came to the fore, but really all felt like they were going through the motions. It actually makes me feel quite sorry for the players, it’s like they’re wearing lead boots. Dickie the best of them today and Joe in the second half and thank goodness they couldn’t make anything of their chances. Where are the boys who ran through walls?
