  1. Probably the best way would be to approach the club, to get them to play it again. People would soon start singing it.
  2. Thank you! I totally understand people not renewing and possibly getting heated over the idea of others, doing so. But you’re right, no one owes anyone justification, for their decision.
  3. Funnily enough I never renew until a week or so before the deadline anyway, as you say, waiting and seeing what happens and it’s in my bank longer. This way if things get any worse it gives us time to reconsider if appropriate.
  4. I totally see why you’re doing it. And I understand that’s the message you want to send. However, I’ve decided to renew and so there’s only so much I can do to voice my feelings. As others I will wait as long as is possible.
  5. Oh come on that’s so naive. You have no more idea than I do how they’re affected, or how easily they get over things. Each person/player will react differently. There are plenty of articles telling of the effects of abuse on players. In my working life I was a well paid professional but that didn’t mean I wasn’t affected by things.
  6. No, not specifically. But it’s stupid to pay more than necessary. I’m buying an ST for many reasons. Good on you.
  7. They’re not robots. You think booing doesn’t affect them then? of course it’s transitory they’re passing through, but I can’t believe their experiences in life just like ours, don’t affect them.
  8. Not touchy, but I’m not paying POTD for every game. Yes, I am unhappy with the current state of affairs but for myself, actually I think it’s the players that will feel the effects of fans responses well before the club do.
  9. Look. You don’t know my reasons for going to football and for renewing, just as I don’t know yours for deciding not to. Calling people out for a decision that is completely an individual’s own, isn’t on. I’m not criticising you for your decision, I respect that’s the decision you’ve come to and I’m not going to use sarcastic comments to challenge that decision. I’m not sure why it would bother you enough as to what I’m doing, to comment. Neither you nor I know what we’re going to get next season.
  10. Alright!! misread it. Ok, well it’s still going to be the decision we make,to get an ST. If supporting the team is important to me then going to all home games is what I think that means. I did say that renewing has lots of other elements around it, who you’re sitting with for one, which you can’t guarantee when you POTD.
  11. Yes but as my last comment said, for me it’s about supporting the team and I can’t do that sitting at home. If people don’t want to renew that’s up to them and good for them, but for various reasons I will be and that has nothing to do with the board and everything to do with the team.
  12. As my OH and I have decided we will renew, I think holding that off for as long as possible @Silvio Dante is the only way to show how we feel really. We did think about not renewing, but there’s a lot involved in that decision, which isn’t solely about the way the club is being run. I think ultimately it’s about wanting to support the team, above all else, as they aren’t responsible for this mess .
  13. Y yes and all good managers of any walk of life are able to takea step back and have a wider view and adapt “behaviours” and approaches, as things evolve. Whatever one’s views are about LM, I think we’d all have to agree on this one, he really doesn’t have that ability. Although some substitutions have worked, I don’t remember any real tactical changes in play, that have changed games, unlike your example of NP. To think that opposition teams will remain static over 90 mins and therefore, his pre game plan, won’t need to change, is naive at best
  14. Exactly this. In my mind, There’s been a definite cutting of the apron strings by Ian in this one. He even had a couple of good things to say about NP. Stating that he was good at lowering expectations. Although I’m sure we heard moaning about that at the time I wonder if he knows something and is slowly disconnecting from the LM camp. Still maybe I’m looking into that too much?
  15. Yep! I’m afraid Holden for me too.
  16. Yes. I’m actually finding it hard to distinguish one game from another tbh.
  17. Thanks for this Dave. Makes interesting albeit gloomy reading.
  18. It’s been similar at the end of a lot of games we’ve lost, suddenly slowing a bit more energy, zeal etc. too little too late.
  19. Couldn’t agree more. I almost think every player who returns from injury is never back to full fitness/skill for months.
  20. Just a bit of an over reaction from the OP. McCrorie’s error doesn’t really justify that.
