Would love a 76/77 vibe, both home and away.
That'll be the season after next, 25/26 - It'll be the 50th anniversary of reaching the top flight .

When I'm chilling out, in the zone with the lights out, glass of whisky, headphones on, I do like a bit of Fairport and Fotheringay. RIP Gerry.

Just watched a documentary on SH, I knew he had polio as a youngster, BUT watching him walk down the street, he had a limp almost as pronounced as Ian Dury's !
That's what struck me seeing him live. Saw Ian Dury too, although his limp was worse than SH.

RIP Steve Harley, and thank you for one of the greatest songs of all time.
Saw him early 1990s at what used to be the Hofbrauhaus (no idea what it is these days). Absolutely brilliant live performance. RIP Steve.

Can someone who knows more about rugby than me tell me why England would kick the ball in the air with four mins left instead of keeping it? Commentators didn’t even acknowledge it
That's what I dont get about rugby. Possession is freely given to the opposition.

Me too, about 76-78. And Saturday lunchtimes too, when they trialed it for a bit, in the summer I think so didn't interfere with going down the Gate.
Remember Stairway to Heaven and the massive queues for the Ladies just before the slow spot so they wouldn't get asked to dance
Plus they always played Hi Ho Silver Lining near the end, so we had to outshout any Rovers fans, and there were a few football scraps afterwards walking up the hill.
Definitely there when you were there then mate

Used to go on a Tuesday(?) night which was rock music night. Good times.
Went a few times on Friday/Saturday but they had that ridiculous rule that you had to have a tie on to get in, only to take it off again once inside. Hated that.

I remember him scoring with a header at the East End against Orient. We were 2-1 down at half time and ended up winning 5-3. I was on the railings right behind the goal.
