Sorry why would you want to give an increased allocation they are entitled to 15% of capacity which is what we had. Makes no sense allowing the away end to have twice as many fans cheering on their team? We have had loads of threads about how we can reduce the impact. The top teams will always get the pick of the players, it may make it a little more difficult for the bottom end to recruit, maybe less players coming in from foreign teams, so likely some re-alignment, but they will still not have problem getting players to showcase themselves in the prem. Even if the differential was significantly reduced to a point where PL teams relegated are given a bit more room in the first 2 years on FFP, so can pay slightly higher wages out of the the money they made from the prem, without the need for PP Would need to be enforced that all new contract contain a relegation clause, maybe players would also need to negotiate a release clause that they can be sold with a bid above x value

Agreed, hence why I said bring in line, thus reducing the need for the PP, I hate being in a rigged competition where in general only 1 non PP team a team gets up

The issue is protectionism, the PL clubs have an equal vote for any changes to the PL, so they have always tried to ensure if anyone falls out of the cushy little club they have a massive advantage to come straight back up, therefore protecting themselves. PL was always about greed of the bigger clubs and 2 fingers to football in general, that's what made me laugh at the clubs kicking off over a super league, when in effect it was exactly what the PL did. Always said only way is to introduce wage reductions into contracts to bring relegated clubs wages in line with Champ

Don't disagree, I have always said the only way we will get to the prem is by developing our own players and growing a team. The issue will always be the more successful you are the more attention they get. Scott was a generational talent that we were always a stepping stone, once he wanted the move that was it. But if you can build a team of good players on reasonable lengths contracts you have a chance of being able to keep them and they wanting to be apart of the journey. We will always be a selling club, as cannot afford not to be as player profits are important, but that does not mean if finances are OK you cannot resist and build as well.

The opportunity being given to young players over the last few years could turn out to be massive for us, young players are starting to city as a real pathway in to 1st team men's football and maybe on to bigger clubs, which will see us getting the cream of players instead of loosing out like we have done for years

My point was about seeming to be quite enjoying the loss to make some cheap point, no matter if its aimed against Lansdown Marshall or Manning No I don't agree with the comments, as like anyone with any common sense would see that is a smokescreen for the real reasons behind the sacking, of which no one on here will know

One thing that Millwall did that frustrates the hell out of me that we don't, is when defending a corner they left a player up. I know it seems to be the modern way of everyone back in the box and sure manager must have statics of it being better, but when we clear our lines the opposition just pick up cheap ball unopposed and recycle it, when Millwall left one up we were forced to leave two back and had to fight for the ball when cleared, perhaps someone can explain the logic behind everyone back.

The problem is like most things at the club we know very little of the reasoning behind decisions, maybe struggling with illness or injury or LM just wanted to rotate with so many games or tactical, but agree ideally would have preferred them both to start

In fairness a Millwall who finished 7th I think last year, have just changed the manager, beat Norwich & QPR in the last 2 games and drew with Stoke and Huddersfield after a narrow 3-2 loss to Leicester, Perhaps it was a mixture of fatigue and caught out in the 2nd half, by a side who are finding good form and better than there position
