  1. I am disappointed with the loss and had hoped we would push on today, but people seem to ignore we are playing against another team, in this case also in form
  2. Or a bit of patience and accept we will not get it right every time, not sure you would have got much support after our last win, but a loss and the end of the world is nigh
  3. In fairness a Millwall who finished 7th I think last year, have just changed the manager, beat Norwich & QPR in the last 2 games and drew with Stoke and Huddersfield after a narrow 3-2 loss to Leicester, Perhaps it was a mixture of fatigue and caught out in the 2nd half, by a side who are finding good form and better than there position
  4. My point was simple, you have not posted since August, but then post exactly the same as you posted then when Nige was in charge
  5. When I watched it live, I thought it was all Williams and could be even in trouble after the game if they review it, but watching again it looks like Williams just carries on going with the player up to the barrier, but the Millwall players tries to kick joe and that's when he kicks off
  6. Pathetic and you seem to rejoice in the not going great comment, with a few more bad results if you are lucky, you can post told you so. You did not rush to post after 3 wins
  7. So you do not visit for months to comment after some good wins, but regurgitate something you posted in August when NP was in charge
  8. Dave do you not have city in the same spreadsheet as the rest for easy comparison with the turnover as well
  9. Frustrating thing to watch about this style, when we do create the opening or a turnover we don't seem to have anyone in the front line that pulls into a position to receive a forward pass, so end up slowing it down and allowing the opposition to regain shape. Also thought 1st half we did make some good interplay into the box without turning it into a decent shot
  10. Out of interest which clubs? I am interested as what a base level cost of being a championship team is
  11. Thought TGH was poor at Brum as well, maybe LM comments that we do not need to rush to sort out a contract have had a negative effect, or maybe just performance has dropped
  12. Can't believe in the 2nd half with an increasing slick pitch from the rain, we did not at least try a few efforts from outside the box, one of the things that had changed under LM was taking shots from further out and the last 2 games we have stopped again.
  13. Unlucky to have his 2nd disallowed for offside, took it very well
  14. Don't need to troll you, its down to the comments you make, Happy New Year
  15. yes because or the arrogant comment made by WSM (You think that because you have an inability to understand the type of player that Tanner is.) in the reply to someone else posts which I thought was fair. FWIW - I like Tanner and think he is a tidy and good defender and and did very well keeping quite there winger quiet. I am not looking for George to be up and down like Pring, but I do feel he can be slow and negative on the ball when he receives it and plays the easy safe option backwards a lot when there are other balls on, although he was slightly better last night as maybe not pressed so much.
  16. Made ne laugh when I was reading there forum last night, and not far off
  17. Rooney trying to save his job, set up for a point and maybe have a go for 3 in the last 5 minutes, they defended well, to many loose over hit balls from us, maybe could have done with Cornick on for the last 10.
  18. Just seen this - mad Wayne Rooney will be the 19th different Birmingham manager Bristol City have faced in their last 20 trips to St Andrew's. Only Gary Rowett has experienced multiple home games against the Robins
  19. Often thought the only way of getting rid of parachute payments is to have standard relegation clauses, this would should suggest that it is / could become the norm Would love the championship to be on a equal footing, its the thing I dislike most about football, cant think of another such rigged competition
  20. I think a lot of what you said is down to your (and others) interpretation, it may well be that we are now seeing more or what LM wants or work in progress towards, as opposed to the 1st games we did not as the players did not carry out the game plan, as maybe he over loaded the players of what he is trying to achieve (maybe taking some pressure off players and saying my fault). In fact if you look at the same interview at around 15 minutes he talks about clarity to the players of what they are trying to achieve and there understanding of the shape and how to play it. Of course the amount of possession you have will have will depend upon who you are playing and if you are winning or loosing. Take the watford game, we were around 50:50 at half time, but surrendered possession 2nd half as we did not chase the game which ended with us having 41%. It was also interesting, listening to AW after the Watford game about how much the players are enjoying it and moving to a much more possession based way of playing. Think senior players slating things on Robins TV is also a bit OTT Reality is probable a bit of all things, players getting use to what ML wants, ML adjusting pace of change or what's required, other teams impacting what we do long with the status of the game
  21. That's a massive reduction in losses, then I guess with Scott sale in the following year we should be in a very healthy position
  22. Quite all speculation, but JL volunteered about investors with expertise, and as stated the current setup is unlikely to have a minority investor wanting to carry on with the current set up, so likely to be adding experience and have input at the most senior level, what ever that revamp looks like. Of course it does not mean anything is in the pipeline, but an alternative to selling wholesale
  23. As per the point I made in my post, perhaps the structure is interim, could even be with the investor taking over the day to day running and JL taking a back seat.... who knows what discussions could be ongoing
