  1. Well this thread was as predictable as Billy Sharp scoring against us, usual suspects cant wait to say look mummy I was right Bakinson had a poor game as the latest jump on the bandwagon scapegoat. I will agree he had a poor game, but to be singled out when we had due to injuries our youngest most inexperienced midfield playing against ex prem players, where our whole midfield was very poor just about sums up OTIB
  2. FACT..... He employs a highly experienced manager and very well thought of CEO to run the club day to day. Sounds like quite a few on here are customers, with quotes like not paying my money to watch this, glad I did not buy a season ticket
  3. Only performance worse than ours has been the refs absolute disgrace
  4. So we get 3 bookings for kicking the ball away, the homer of a ref ignores SU doing the same.
  5. I know a while ago he was living and his wife wanted to stay in Swansea where there baby was born, of course his family home could be in Swansea and KP has a pad he lives in during the week or they may have relocated back to Bristol now with a Swansea move not on the cards
  6. No problem at all with people moaning or criticising a player when poor or making mistakes. I don't like the scapegoating of a player, only highlighting his errors when others have been worse or having to keep on that a player is poor to try and justify previous statements
  7. Probable not, thought NP was playing KP a lot pre-season maybe just putting in shop window
  8. I think it was fairly clear KP wanted to stay at Swansea and believe he still lives there, wonder if the signing of Pato effectively scuppered any chance of KP getting his move? seems to be working out well for the swans
  9. He is a different type of player to Williams and James and already as good or maybe better than either of them at picking a pass or moving the ball off quickly with his 1st touch as his awareness is fantastic. Its also why he gives the ball away more as he is the one trying to hit the forward pass of the quick ball, rather than just a safe sidewards or back. I have never moaned about TB even when the has poor games as can see a future very good player, he has recognised himself he needs to improve certain aspects of his game and still has a way to go to realise his potential. Just a shame a few who have liked to scapegoat him and Odowda have to keep on talking sh1t even when they are playing well
  10. Interesting, it always winds me up that we have everyone back, as the ball is cleared and immediately puts you back under pressure and no chance of a breakaway goal. So good to know I need to change my view point.
  11. Had to laugh at a comment on teh stokies forum game management from Bristol. I guess they learned that after Holden left
  12. Where you neglected as a child, perhaps ignored in the workplace or banished to the garden shed at home. Just trying to understand the constant needy attenstion seeking posts. But will add don't think you are making many friends or influencing people, but perhaps just a good wind up.
  13. Will not be popular to some on here but thought Odowda was excellent today and Bakinson was also very good
  14. Or perhaps both managers are correct and we have problems within the squad
  15. Yes Nige I do really want to be here with you, don't send me away, I missed you soo much
  16. Swap Weimann for Martin and put in Semenyo and I would be happy
  17. Obviously Palmer but think possible wells or Dasilva. Think the ones hoping it's Odowda are off the mark
  18. Felt the same, all the article did was to reinforce the likelihood of being owned by some anonymous just got rich Chinese merchant as a status symbol or a bunch of investors hoping to chuck some money and get to the premier league promise land and when that does not work looking how to exit and sell on. It would seem that 10 million a year losses are low to average for a championship team, so with approx 25 games at home depending on cups, with lets say 17,000 home fans per game, if they all pay an extra £23.50 each per game then that will cover the losses, or how much each game you attend (if losses were only £10m) are being subsidised by the owners. Of course a few will try to say SL is going to make money out of this and cover all the money he has put in, but its easy to write what ever you want on a forum and pass off as fact without the slightest bit of evidence to back it up or true in depth knowledge.
  19. should be moved to the non football section
  20. Glad I did not subscribe, what a crock of sh1t
  21. I see you have Pack as 734K, but reported at time as £4m?
  22. As things have turned out Ashtons shopping trips to Knightsbridge have not worked out well Kallas, generally a good solid defender, but surprising how many times he gets out jumped and does not appear to be a good communicator / organiser, for 8m and high wages, would be happy to get back what we can and reduce wage bill Palmer - No manager seems to want to play him, can be great when he is up for it, although i think his home and heart are still in Swansea, need to get what we can for and move on, looks like we have better options in Scott and other youngsters DaSilva - originally looked a great buy, but since injuries has never recovered his pace which use to make up a bit for his lack of height (which I think is a real problem for a defender), but now way behind Pring at LB - so need to get rid
  23. Would be interesting if there is a difference in his stats for the last few games since injured versus earlier in the season where he seemed to be MOM each game, recently does not seem to stand out and much poorer performances
  24. Hope Gerrard fails miserable so ville are relegated and the EFL impose the sanctions they deserved
