You can all stop now, a very ITK has spoken.
Can immediately rule that out then because fresh ideas aren’t part of the requirement. We have Brian Tinnion’s master plan so all the new HC needs to do is pick the team (checking beforehand of course that Brian agrees).

It’s the arrogance of it that gets me. Paraphrasing but essentially saying that We’ve got this great squad and the rest of the championship find us difficult to defend against, and we’re going to play this particular style of football and the new HC will take that forward.
i don’t think many people would say we have a top 6 squad. With some astute additions from the Scott money, it could have been. But top 10 this season would have been continued progression on the pitch and we’d surely have been happy about that. Barring injuries, we’d either be in the top 6 or not very far out of it under Nige. Injuries have killed us, there ain’t many teams that could sustain that many injuries in key positions and continue picking up points.
if BT was taking forward this establish way of playing that he’d been successful with elsewhere, then fair enough. But it does smack of comments he made when becoming manager previously, and we know how that turned out.
Nige has gone and ain’t coming back, so we need to now recruit the best fit for the club - someone who presumably will bring their own staff (well, let’s at least hope they know a good Head of Physio, anyway). Surely the best fit includes the remit of deciding how we best play with the players we have available and what their blueprint is for the future, not just having to accept BT’s vision and work to it. Remarkable how he’s come to have so much power having achieved so little outside of what he’s done with the Academy.
just can’t help feeling we’re getting it totally wrong (quelle surprise) and we’re going to implode.

Not the last, but the quality of the goals were up there with last night.

If you zoom in closely, you can see the bus that Joey will be chucking one of his players under later.

Was sat at the front of W1 in the Upper Lansdown today and had a decent view of it. Real time it looked like a cracker of a tackle and what made it better was not only was it the last minute and the game was 0-0, it was that it was right in front of the Baggies fans who were p1ssy for real about it.
If he gets it wrong, it’s a pen and a red so no margin for error (like when Tanner mis-timed his on Phillips and clattered him) so well done Kal.
Goes without saying though that if that’s at the other end, it’s a nailed on pen

Possibly a bit of wishful on my part.
Or slightly lazy by me! My thinking was being on the Ashton Gate footprint it would flow to Bristol City Holdings however Estaben Ltd I've never really looked into.
Esteban Investments Limited has two directors - JL and Martin Griffiths. Presume as Planning permission was granted to them, they are the freehold owners of all the land in question?
SL resigned his directorships of the various limited companies related to BCFC in May 2011, presumably when moving to Guernsey?
Is JL resident in the UK for tax purposes? Presumably so and that’s why SL isn’t an active director of the various companies.

Great transfer for City and for Alex. Can’t argue with it, particularly if the Conway injury forced our hand a bit.
Hopefully we’ll now strengthen in the right areas and continue to progress up the league.
After all, it’s all about progression, not regression.

Not Championship standard imo. I think he’d have struggled to get into Bath Citys first 11 - unless his dad was manager of course.
Good grief.

Ex - it’s my opinion that LJ was a bang average player largely carried by Marv, Hartley, Skuse and Noble. Stats mean nothing - I’m relaying what I actually saw. ……….
quantify bang average. Do you mean he was a bang average championship midfielder?

Remember the days of the Academy producing the odd first team player every now and then? Makes me feel bloody chuffed that our club is producing this kind of player and we’re talking about whether a £20m+ bid should be accepted.
And we’ve still got the likes of Pring and Conway who could go for big money as well if they continue last seasons form.
Crazy, really. But that Academy is worth its weight in gold (or Scott’s).
Don’t expect Scott to be here come August 5th but can’t wait for the season to start! COYR

I don’t like Wolves, either.
But Wolves more “pointless” than Luton & Bournemouth; I don’t think so !!
I like anyone who is going to pay us £25m or more!
Gutted that he’s gonna go but I’ll be following his career and expect his next club to be a stepping stone to one of the big boys. Which, with a decent sell on fee, will be happy days for us.

As in...the basis of Cott's promotion team?
Yep. No denial about that. But SC got a tune from them that SOD didn’t, JET aside

Who the hell is Brian Howard!
Good midfielder prior to coming to us! Pretty sure that, like Nicky Shorey, his best days were way behind him and he was carrying a bit of timber when we had him for a short while.

Interesting topic for debate.
Heres a list of players signed by SOD for us:
Brendan Moloney
Brian Howard
Jordan Wynter
Aden Flint
Derrick Williams
Frank Fielding
JET
Scott Wagstaff
elliott Parrish
Marlon Harewood
Marlon Pack
Nicky Shorey
Proper mixed bag that. Probably a 50/50 split between the good and the bad/ugly.
football under him was dire and we were definitely heading into League 2 under him.
but he inherited a lot of dross from McInnes and had to clear the decks, and SC definitely benefitted from that.

Absolute rubbish. As I know for a fact you have no mates! #ITK

Why isn't this on the club website? Seems bizarre.
Yep, I won’t believe it until it’s on the official website. Until then it’s just gossip and rumours.

Not my confession but someone believed Gary Johnson was a conference manager…

Embarrassing. James was outstanding yesterday and arguably it was his best game for us.

Just come back, luckily in time for the darts, from the new incarnation of the erstwhile Caffe Saaz (Saaz Mezze ) on North St. Really good Turkish mezze choices plus the generous £2.50 BYO allowance makes it an incredibly good choice for a decent feast. The portions are very generous as @Scrumpy Dziek will attest.
