Yeah I can totally understand that point, fair enough. I reckon it will be Williams that ends up staying if I were to guess.

I have been blown away recently with his performances. He has settled so well into the back 3 and him Dickie and Tanner were a really solid back 3 today. This kid is something special, he has got potential to have a really top career and picking him up on a minimal fee (I think it was a bit of compensation to Brighton) was incredible business just like Dickie. I remember right at the start of the season there was glimpses of what he could do before he picked up that injury and I remember reading a month ago about how he asked Manning to go out on loan in January. Our upturn in form has come with Haydon Roberts has been playing in this back 3. What a brilliant defence and goalkeeper we have, dare I say next season I am really excited to see what could happen if we do some good summer transfers on the other end of the pitch!

Williams has been good this season. Would personally still rather keep James if it is one or the other but would not be disappointed if he is retained.

Yeah should be ahead of Bazunu. Travers has gone back to Bournemouth and become a bench warmer a part from cup games. Kelleher been playing for Liverpool recently during Alisson's absence but now Allison is back won't see much game time. But surely got to be called up with his form.

Yeah I just commented on another thread about it. I assumed Bajic would come on straight away especially as there is nothing to play for in the season now and no need to risk making his knock any worse. As you say fair play for him continuing the game out though. In regards to the main topic of this thread, I have always been a strong supporter of Max as people will notice with my previous comments on here. I don't believe he will go in the summer and I am very confident he will be here at the end of the summer but football is a weird sport and anything can happen. Still would like another backup to Max as the club obviously don't rate Bajic, if they did I reckon he would have come on yesterday and they wouldn't have taken any risks with Max. But very happy to see him performing well and really hope he carries on getting better!

I see Bajic most games stood there in the tunnel area he doesn't seem to sit down! When Max got a massive knock in the first half he went out to warm up in case he was needed but Max carried on. Max looked like he was really struggling yesterday with the knock he had and was trying to play through the pain I think.

Fantastic performance by him again brings such confidence to the defence in front of him, saved the penalty albeit not a very good pen. Since the Cov game has become really consistent again, well done Max keep it up!

Incredibly happy for George Tanner, on the pitch for a chunk of the season has been hard for him but recently he has looked incredible and I really hope this continues for him. I think right now Atkinson will find it hard to come into the back 3 and will have to work very hard to get there.

What a performance from the lads tonight I feel so bad for all of them they all worked their socks off and ultimately don't deserve to be on the loosing end but unfortunately football can be a cruel sport. A lot to take from the game. I wasn't there but by all accounts from what I have seen Jamie Knight-Lebel seemed to do well when he came on the pitch, I really hope he can start to develop further because he seems a really good prospect. I feel really bad for Bell tonight he put in a brilliant tackle at the end of the game to stop Forest winning in injury time and he worked his socks off all game, you can never doubt Sam's effort. I just feel so bad for him he stepped up to take a penalty when it seems no one else would. I am not disappointed by any of our players tonight however as much as I understand taking penalties is huge pressure I just wish some more senior players offered to take a penalty like Williams, James etc rather than put the younger players in pressured situations. Admittedly, it feels there isn't going to be anything to play for now so our main focus needs to be ending the season on a high and hopefully give some minutes to players like Jamie Knight-Lebel who could have really good futures ahead of them. He sounds good and glad we have got this deal done but was hoping for a tall striker which I assume we are not going to be getting now.

Whilst it is frustrating to concede so late on, at the start of the day I am sure that a lot of us would have taken a point. It's not an easy place to go to and we are unbeaten against them this season. We have also seen Conway and Wells on the pitch together for the first time in a while and hopefully that has shown LM what they can do together. Onto Leeds...

I'm not at all defending him for the goal because it was his fault but he has saved us a lot of points this season and this is his first clear mistake that led to a goal for a while

Thought Max was brilliant tonight. Admittedly, didn't have tons to do but when called into action thought he was sensational. Kicking was great, he was coming out to catch balls. Along with the fantastic defence we have we look brilliant at the back.

Excited for the new season. Hopefully an interesting season but suspect there will still be a lot of Red Bull dominance.

I am one of Max's biggest fans, he may still have some dodgy kicking but at the end of the day he saves us a lot of points. As we progress as a team it is going to be interesting to see whether Manning sticks with Max or whether in the summer he looks to get in a different goalkeeper, I really hope he sticks with Max because I am confident he can get even better to how he is now, he has also saved Vyner a lot of times recently notably against West Ham when he set up TC's goal.

Vyner's performance has been disgusting today, static defending and doesn't look bothered.
