We improved massively in this area when Max was included last year
I enjoyed Max when he was in goal. City as a team played better IMO. Bents is the better GK tho. If Max could improve with a couple of things he could become a very good goalkeeper IMO.

If the radio commentary is correct, it sounds like King is doing a decent job as the defensive midfielder tonight.
Bet he will get injured this season but when fit hopefully he will be useful.

3-1 these changes by them look good. Blow the full time whistle!!!!!!

Guess no RobinsTV or streaming tonight?
No, sadly not. I'm listening to it on BBC Radio Bristol.

You can forget Kalas, nowhere near ready apparently.
I posted my side on the Coventry thread, it would be;
Bentley, Wilson, Klose, Naismith, Towler, Pring (if fit), King, HNM, Sykes, Wells, Conway.
My logic being I see no point in “resting” our first choice goalkeeper, Scott & Weimann both need a break after playing all summer, Williams won’t play & Martin isn’t going to play 3 games in a week.
Listening to Nige though I expect Scott might start, as we are without both our first choice central midfielders but otherwise aside from Atkinson starting (I’d still rest him) & JD if Pring isn’t ready, I doubt it will be too far away.
Totally get the point about not resting first choice goalkeeper, I only have O' Leary in goal just to help get him some game time because Bentley could get injured the chances are slim of him getting injured but I think it is a good opportunity to give Max a bit of game time.

Not towler, he’s been destroyed in every game he’s played. Think it’ll be Klose/Naismith/Atkinson
Feel bad for Towler. Got chucked into a few games which were horrible including that Watford game a couple of seasons back.

What are we all thinking for the team tonight?
Personally, I would go for a mixed team of regulars in the starting lineup and bench players. 3-4-1-2 / 3-4-3
(GK) O' Leary
(RWB) Wilson
(LWB) Pring
(LCB) Atkinson
(CB) Klose
(RCB) Kalas (Ideally) If Kalas can't play and judging by Nige's comments I don't think that is guaranteed meaning then you are probably left with no choice but to play Vyner unless you want to play Klose RCB which we have seen doesn't work and then Naismith would come into the team. If Vyner start's and Kalas can't make the bench then I would have Ryley Towler on it.
(CM 1) King
(CM 2) HNM
Front 3
Wells
Conway
Weimann
Subs
Bentley, Dasilva, Naismith, Kalas / Vyner / Towler, Scott, Martin, Sykes, Tanner, Bell

Massengo for Williams the only change.
No Benarous on the bench, ill? Vyner back.
Anyone know why O’Leary hasn’t been on the bench for the last 2?
I was going to ask the same question. I have a feeling he has had a fall out maybe because of not being selected but he can't expect to get in front of Bents with the form he is showing. Let's hope Harvey Wiles- Richards is going to be a good goalkeeper for us.

I don't think Semenyo had the best game this evening. We know what he is capable of. He is a great talent though and we need to try whatever we can to keep hold of him.

I would prefer Pring to start Left Back but I don't have a problem with Dasilva starting right back. When Tanner get's back I don't mind Tanner-Pring-Dasilva rotating around. Dasilva was fabulous today as was pring. It is going to be hard for Tanner to get his place back.

My Team for Tuesday:
Bentley, Kalas, Klose, Dasilva, Massengo, Williams, Scott, Pring, Weimann, Martin, Semenyo.
1 Change Sam Bell out for Cameron Pring.
Sam Bell didn't do to much wrong against Middlesbrough but I wouldn't play him as we need to be able to rotate him and Dasilva and then when George Tanner comes back he will have to earn the rights to start. Rotation is key. Other than that I wouldn't change to much around I felt Pring did well when he came on so he deserves a start for me. I wouldn't mind Cundy being given a start as I think he is good in the air which is good to have in the defence.

It will be interesting to see how many Middlesbrough fans turn up to the game tomorrow with the weather not being very good.

Anyone think it's time Wells had a game?
I don't think Pearson will be giving him a game any time soon because he likes the attacking trio of Martin, Semenyo and Weimann but would like to see Wells given a go soon.

Well after the disappointment of Swansea what team are we going for Middlesbrough in an important game.
Injured players:
Max O’ Leary- Dead legRob Atkinson- Calf
Matty James- Foot
Andy King- Hamstring
Callum O’ Dowda-?
Nathan Baker- Concussion
George Tanner- Hamstring
Kasey Palmer- ?
The team I would pick
Bentley
Dasilva
Kalas
Klose
Pring
Williams
Massengo
Scott
Weimann
Semenyo
Martin
Substitutes: Harvey Wiles- Richards, Wells, Cundy, Vyner, Conway, Benarous, Bell or Idhen
The formation would be a 4-3-1-2. I think Pearson will stick with a back 3 and maybe play someone like Cundy over Vyner. But with the injuries I think that is the best lineup for tomorrow. I am going for a 2-1 loss tomorrow but hopefully I am wrong. COYR

Recently Pring has looked incredible. His tackling is top quality. Not long before he will be playing in the premier league (Hopefully with us)
